"Came here because they had the Moqueca on the menu and I felt like a tasty brazilian fish stew. Boy, was I dissapointed. I've had the Moqueca a few times before in Brazil and in New York at Esperanto in Alphabet City both very good both the one in Made In Brasil Boteco didn't give me any thrills. Only chills. The sauce was bland and tasteless in a boring tomato ish way no coconut milk fulness to it. The contents were fish, clams, jumboshrimp and calamari rings. The whole thing gave me a disgusted feeling. The fish pieces seemed like the step before garbage cut offs from fileting the fish. The jumboshrimp was served with everything (head and the works) and while that may be to the taste of someone that didn't improve the overall impression of the meal. Lastly white calamari rings the sort you usually get breaded and deepfried at cheap greek restaurants: I don't see them as having any business in the Moqueca and to me that just yanked the overall impression of the meal a few more notches down, as they just seemed like a cheap filler along with the other rather disgusting seafood contents of the dish. I was hungry and I did eat some of it the farofa to sprinkle on top did give it a little taste. But going through the different pieces of low quality seafood in the dish just left me with a feeling of whether or not this was good for me. Eating fish and seafood is kind of a trust game to me. So I let the waitress know that the dish didn't live up to my expectations and she took it back to the kitchen and came back and told me that this is how they always make it. That made the decision very easy to just pay, get out of there and never come back. The place has a nice vibe cosy, brazilian music and outfits. I'm sure you could have a nice with drinks and the occasional live music in there. But avoid the Moqueca at all costs."

Stopped by before heading to the Roundhouse for a quick tapas meal. The food was good and the service was fast.

Really enjoyed our visit. Very friendly staff, great food, nice ambient. Very reasonable prices. Location very easy to find. Nothing bad to say!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the music only added to the experience. The only downside was the limited variety of options on the menu - I wish there were more choices available. View menu

The place was very loud and we struggled a bit sometimes to order food as the waiter was very busy, food was good but not amazing, the vegetarian platter selection I found it a bit expensive in contrast to what we got. The dessert was good, the waiter didn't know much about the menu selection

The restaurant had a decent atmosphere, with clean surroundings and Brazilian decorations, accompanied by appropriate music. The staff were generally friendly and attentive, the wine list was satisfactory, and the bar seemed well stocked. However, the food was disappointing. The dishes were heavy and lacking in greens, and did not taste fresh. Unfortunately, I do not plan on returning to this restaurant.

Came here on one of this year's fleeting summer days for a speedy one hour dinner. And within that hour, they managed to welcome us, suggest some dishes they thought we might like and serve us some finger lickin' Brazilian food. Ended up going for a feijoada (a must try in Brazilian cuisine) and my friend went for steak and we both left very satisfied albeit with a bit of indigestion! The portions were great, the prices were fair and after having lived in Brazil for five months, the food tasted pretty authentic to me. P.s. It may not be obvious when you go inside, but there's a nice rooftop terrace too! View menu

This is NOT a Brazilian steakhouse, came here with friends for dinner while we were in London on vacation and the live Brazilian band that greeted us showed a promising start to the evening unfortunately that was the only good thing about this place. We excitedly ordered the classic Caipirinha and when it arrived we were met with a glass half filled with ice, with a few intact lime wedges floating around in it, lime syrup and an overpowering amount of Cachaça, anyone whose ever had a Caipirinha knows it's a refreshing amazing drink which this was anything but. I instantly knew we were in trouble. We decided to take our chances and ordered the the steakhouse staple of picanha meat and what we...

Finally got round to going to the sister venue of Made in Brasil, which I was a bit disappointed with, but this, their new venue just round the corner, certainly made up for it! Love it, the food, the atmosphere, the service, the music. A warm, vibrant, friendly and welcoming venue. The bar is at the front as you walk in, and then the restaurant is on several levels, with plenty of seating, so although it was heaving when we arrived quite late on a Friday evening, we did managed to find two tables next to each other, to cater for our group of 8 people on the first floor. They even have a terrace on the top floor and live music in the basement. The table of three had the sharing tapas platter...
