"There is no coherent theme (only two separate menus, Italian and Indian) and the cocktails are not great. But I used to live in Jersey City where there is a huge Indian community, and I found this place that sold discpizzeria and then when I moved, I couldn't find it for YEARS. And this place has a good pizza oven and was ready to wiper with spicy Madras sauce and it is SO good (Methi Paneer was also good). It sounds stupid, but it's delicious and made me really nostalgic. A, would eat here again."

Had mutton biryani and its very spot on. My other half had the hot dish curry and it’s taste sooo good and quite hot too which he likes. Definitely will be back!

Went to mama masalas on the 17th March 2023 for my partners birthday meal. It was amazing they always make u feel welcome and the owner always comes over to c how u r. Everytime we come to derry we always eat there and will always go back

Best food in Derry! Every dish we ate here was absolutely delicious. All the ingredients tasted fresh, and expertly combined with the right herbs and spices for an authentic flavour that clearly didn't come from a jar. Despite being very busy, staff checked with us regularly, and fulfilled any and all requests. Cannot wait to go back!

We came here for our anniversary, I can say from start to finish the service and food were exceptional, we where greeted with complimentary champagne as it was booked for our anniversary, very cosy feeling and brilliant view of the foyle at night inside the restaurant. We always order takeout from here also and the standard is always amazing and authentic and fresh prepared food.
