"Markthalle Neun is more a food hall than a market and it is getting more touristy these days (especially on Thursday evening when they have "Street Food Thursday"). However, I enjoy its atmosphere quite a lot. Whenever I visit Berlin, I always try to find my way there to eat and have a drink.On a regular "working market" days (wochen markt) on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, it is much quieter. However, some Spanish tapas vendor, Turkish mezze vendors, and an Italian bakery all open on these regular days. There are also two micro-brewers selling some tasty beers here. On "Street Food Thursday" it is much busier. There are food vendors who come from different parts of Berlin, selling all different types of food. In summer months, it can get quite crowded. Occasionally, they also have some special events. Like in last summer, they had "United Street Food" on Sunday, where street food from countries where many refugees are from are featured, like Syrian and Afghanistan food. There are always interesting food and drinks whenever I visited.One thing to note is that it is not especially easy to find. Though it is not a long walk from Goelitzer Bahnhof station of U-1 Line, the street grid in this neighborhood is not all that sensible. It is better to get some help from you Google Map to find it here!"

Be prepared for extreme crowds and long lines but awesome selection of foods to try at slightly inflated prices. Loved the variety of options and definitely recommend the ice cream!

Leuke food market in een mooie, oude markthalle. Veel keuze uit internationale gerechten. Allemaal even smaakvol en voor een paar euro. Leuk om een paar uurtjes rond te lopen en te proeven.

Eine der Top-Foodliebhaberplätze in Berlin. Sollte man beim Berlin-Trip keinesfalls verpassen. Besonders empfehlenswert ist der Streetfood Thursday. Wir waren das zweite Mal und mal wieder begeistert von der Vielfalt der Speisen. Vielen Dank.

Milujem sa zdržiavať, očumovať, voniať, vnímať, chutnať, hltať, užívať si v Markthalle 9 v Berlíne. Je to veľkolepé miesto, kde mi je brutálne super. Zelenina, ovocie, pitivo, jedlo, atmosféra TOP. Jedno z naj miest pre mňa v hlavnom meste Nemecka. Prídem znovu ;))

Every Thursday they organise a street food market. The place is flooded and it gets impossible to stand there after 6pm. It has a great variety of choices and quite inexpensive. BUT you can't seat anywhere to enjoy your meal AND you have to face lines in every stall.

Er hing een aangename, drukke, levendige sfeer. Je kon er een zeer uitgebreid assortiment van gerechten terugvinden. De markthal zorgt ervoor dat je hier zowel tijdens goed als slecht weer terecht kan. Zeker de moeite om tijd voor uit te trekken als je eens zin hebt in iets anders!

Hele vores familie er fan af street food konceptet, og glædede os derfor til et besøg på Markthalle Neun. Det er til dato den største skuffelse, rent street food mæssigt! Stedet ligger i et lidt slidt og ikke super hyggeligt område, og selve mad hallen var af ringe standard. Vi var der max 10 minutter, hvorefter vi lavede en uvending, og tog toget " hjemad" igen. Kan ikke anbefales.

Donnerstags jetzt mal dort gewesen - zum frühen Dinner.Es war super lecker, wie immer bisher.Die Stimmung dort ist entspannt, obwohl es natürlich voll und laut ist, aber was wir toll finden, gefällt selbstverständlich auch anderen Man kann gar nicht unbedingt Spezielles empfehlen, es ist so mannigfaltig und für jeden Geschmack was dabei !Ich liebe es dort und bin und werde bei jedem Besuch in Berlin immer dorthin gehen.

Se volete provare uno street food che non sia solo Currywurst e patatine, allora dovete assolutamente passare per questa Markthalle, che il giovedì sera si trasforma in un carinissimo (e affollatissimo) mercato gastronomico, dove è possibile gustare sia specialità tedesche e sia internazionali, accompagnate da ottimi bicchieri vino con un'atmosfera giovanile in una bellissima location nel quartiere di Kreuzberg (da fermata U1 Görlitzer bahnhof 10 min. a piedi).Il mercato (al coperto) apre dalle 17:00 alle 22:00 ed è consigliato arrivare molto presto se si vogliono degustare le specialità stando seduti ad un tavolino e senza fare fila per ordinare (dopo le 20:00 è praticamente impossibile cam...
