"General It is by no means a grilling community or a group that wants to change the society, but we find a proper burger shop. At first the Burger Society was probably at the Hohenzollernring. But now there is the place in Ehrenfeld. We were not there; but Carsten Henn had reported about the restaurant in the city bar. He took over the socialist paint, but the burgers were very good. That was enough for us to try out the new store! Ambience In many places are decorative pieces that should remember Marx and Engels. It also reminds of the early industrialization times as old lines, old television sets. Cleanliness Everything is well maintained. The plant is kept economical. The walls have white flow and decorative stone look. Service People are friendly – only sometimes a bit spoiled because they want to serve dishes for the side table or forget drinks. But that's all in the frame and fits something to the place. The map(s) The burgers are offered in the map in two departments: Marx and Engels Burger. There are also some names to remember the revolutionaries. But this is not celebrated throughout. It is ultimately the challenging map of a burger shop: meat but also vegetarian, supplements, dessert and many drinks. Brownie „Explosive Scholastizismus“ 5,90 € I have known Brownies as pastries in square form with lots of chocolate. Here was the cake in a kind of pan and surrounded by a lot of cream. But that also promised us. Beverages Marx Oranges Maracuja iced tea – 0.4 l – €3.90 A refreshing non-enviable beverage mix that my daughter tasted. Pomegranate Beer – 3,90 € With a brownish color the beer showed in the glass and it forms coarse-pored foam. The malt note was clear. In my mouth I felt aromas of hops and fruity notes. This is not my favorite direction, but if you can try it, why not. Price performance ratio Since the dishes have fresh ingredients and are made on site, I think the prices are quite good. Conclusion 4 – happy again: I like the food, atmosphere and service are suitable for a burger shop.
