"this new building in the former 9th district location "kim kocht" near the volksoper is simply fantastic. the midday card is limited, but the quality of the offers is top-class. for a little more than 24 US dollars is a three-course plus hot one-value à la carte available. - a menu with kimchi, bibim bulgogi (a Korean rice bowl with characteristic bark) and a chocolate mousse with fresh skyberries. each teller was a small work of art and the aromas/ ingredients were all unmistakable and yet effortlessly mixed together. the contemporary interieur offers a direct view into the kitchen, where the brazed various feeds strengthen the dramatic effect of the high flames from the cooking station. a accommodating staff and the access of credit cards contribute to comfort. highly recommended. closed on Mondays."

Usually eating is great and delivery fast. unfortunately we had to wait this time and that was unfortunately only lukewarm.

eating was incredible, unique in meadow. even if it's a bit expensive, it's definitely worth it. the kitchen itself is more fusion than Korean.

When you're tired of schnitzel, head on over to Modern Korean. This place is super hip with a great patio area to dine outside. The food was wonderful. I recommend the bibimbap and salad with avocado. Delicious! The wine was a little warm, unfortunately, but it was a hot Vienna summer evening. Waiter was super nice and accommodating.

the regular portion size on the menu is quite good. a selection of first and third choices together was a graceful meal. as many others have already mentioned, this is a contemporary Korean cuisine. it is very inventive and very good. the inkfish, first courses selection, was exceptional (moderately sharp when you worry.) the thunfish was nicely fried and delicious. all 5 guests (2 without Korean eating experience) have enjoyed it very much.

I was there with a group of friends, one of whom was a regular. He did not promise too much as we all really enjoyed our food. We sat in the small private dining space next door to the main restaurant, which only had the disadvantage for the waiter that he had to do a lot of running around and for us, that a cold draft came in every time he opened the door. Also, the toilets seemed a bit neglected. Otherwise, no complaints and the food tasted very authentic (I have been to Korea). Portions were very generous and prices fair: I will be back!

seems to be relatiw - so we could get a table on a Saturday night. I assume that it will soon be difficult to find a table. eating is fantastic, a really modern interpretation of Korean with local ingredients and a bit Austrian/European. jam full of taste. the weeps were carefully selected, but it remains difficult to combine such an intense eating with wein. service very attentive and friendly - everything in all a perfect evening. After we had visited about 12 different restaurants in Wien, which were all very recommended and quite good, this was undoubtedly our best experience so far.

my wife and I were pushed to this restaurant when we looked around at the folk opera since we had an hour. because there was not much choice for dinner in this opposite, we decided to try modern Korean. it is a very chic restaurant that offers upscale kitchen with excellent service. the menu is in German, but well explained by the waiters. they had very interesting dishes of mixed cuisine of Asian (mainly Korean) and other kitchens such as European and Asian cuisine. from the price the main dishes were in the range from 18 to 28 euro, but it was worth the price in any case. the dishes were well explained and the wee recommendations were great. if I would go back there in any case!
