Nice little tea room In Hitchin. Fab decor including the bathroom. Great cream team. Though the Actual tea could be improved to a more flavoursome variety.

I love this place! Enjoyed amazing cakes with one friend and lovely homemade tomato soup and ‘half sandwich’ with another! I did look longingly at the cakes again but couldn’t fit in!

A little way from the main shopping area of Hitchin but well worth it. We stopped off for lunch sandwiches and a really large pot of tea. The staff were really friendly and we would certainly go back again.

Service always superb and the cakes are brilliant. It's the one place in Hitchin my kids always ask if we can go to. Home baking at its best and there is real variation which makes you want to come back time after time. Highly recommended.

Fantastic afternoon ,went to mollys tea room for my friends birthday. Lovely afternoon spread. Very polite staff .if you love a vintage tea room then this is a must. You won't be disappointed. We will certainly be going again. Staff make you feel welcome and all ways make sure your topped up with tea and that your happy.

Thought we 'd have a change from the usual coffee shops in and around Hitchin. One desperately wants business such as this to succeed before the High St is absorbed into a facsimile of every other town.Sadly, tea was not great and the cakes were mediocre. I hope we were a one-off but we will not be back. Seems to be a case of style over substance.

A group of 5 of us had a delicious afternoon tea at Molly’s tea room for my birthday. All the sandwiches were vegetarian as requested when we called and they tasted lovely, lots of filling, we particularly liked the cucumber and mint. The cakes were amazing, especially the brownies and of course the scones! Everything tasted homemade and fresh. We also got unlimited tea and coffee with our afternoon tea which is a really nice touch. Staff were friendly and attentive. Thank you for a lovely afternoon tea!

Just popped in whilst visiting Hitchin and was not disappointed. We tend to visit a lot of tea rooms and have to say this has scored very high on our radar! Welcoming interior, friendly staff, great and prompt service, lots of food to choose from etc. The sandwiches were delicious and plentiful and the cake was to die for (try the delicious coffee and walnut cake if you get a chance) a really great slice served with a large pot of tea. We went away smiling and full what more could you ask for. Will definitely return as it made our afternoon thank you!

Wow, what can I say but what a find. I’ve walked past many times but wanting to take the children I mind somewhere for lunch I decided here and none of us were disappointed. The tea room is beautiful with many beautiful artefacts spread around. We had sandwiches which were freshly made and very tasty. One of my charges had a chocolate brownie which he declared was ‘just the best ever’ my pot of tea came with a beautiful tea cosy which was a delight. The staff were very friendly and the service was very good. The children want to come back in the next school holiday.
