"Unfortunately, I remembered Mongos much better. I have nothing to taste, but the selection at the buffet and the service were very disappointing. In buffet form there were actually only vegetables, meat and fish counters. All that had been in buffet form before (appetizers, soup, dessert) is now brought to the table. In very reduced form. To service: It took forever until the waiter came to receive our beverage order and this also only on call. The same was for the food order. In total it took 45 minutes until we had our drinks and were able to go to the buffet for the first time. In addition, the waiter has not explained anything or only on demand. My parents had zb. Mongos Select. Whether they want rice to do so was not asked, although rice is not provided in this buffet form. At Select there is nothing at all except the buffet itself. Not even a basket of bread they got. There are difficult times, even for gastronomy, but the competition makes it more ensemble and at even less undamaged high prices. I'm afraid I'm not going to eat in Mongos anymore. At least not for the buffet, but only a la card."

We've known Mongos since the opening in Essen. For years we have been going to eat in one of the restaurants. In the meantime, there was a phase that didn't tell us so, but for a long time we've been going to eat here. The ingredients are all very fresh and are refilled.
