Some off the family ordered puddings and the trifle cheesecake was ment to come with crushed flake and didn't we assumed they run out until the last pudding came and it was a rocky road Sunday which had a flake the bar staff was told and told kitchen no refund or rectification was offered"

Took my granddaughter to a Halloween craft morning and it was great, well organised. Loved the cookie decorating and all the little games they had. Thanks for putting on a great morning

eating is tasty, the prices are great, but the really amazing at this pub is the manager there (I think nicola.) she really made our visit and was very friendly. based on her and eating, we would highly recommend.

Once again an excellent meal. Short wait time, approximately 10 minutes, friendly staff when ordering and serving and excellent food for the price. You cannot go wrong. This is my go to place when I want a good value meal. Always a good atmosphere and staff happy and will to engage.

wouldn’t normally put a review on a post regarding a night out having dinner with the family but I am shocked how the local pub has turned itself around in such a short space of time, I asked the barmaid/waitress/glass collector for her name as she was so assertive to everybody’s needs and it is now a pleasure again to visit the Monkfield arms Well done kristie I would now recommend to friends

Very friendly, cheerful and attentive staff. Our party of four adults all selected the fish and chips what a great choice! The portions of fish were generous, the fish was fresh and the batter was crispy. There were more than enough chips and peas. We had checked out the dessert menu, which offers a good variety of delicious puds, but we couldn’t manage to eat any more. We’ll definitely be back!
