"This place is such good value for meals it is amazing. I ordered the 1/2 roast chicken with chips, gravy and suprise, suprise just the choice of mushy peas or peas. Could seriously do with a proper choice of vegetables. The chicken was great a lovely big 1/2 of chicken, great chunky chips a lovely jug of gravy, peas average. My wife loved her salmon and the hollandaise sauce and her new potatoes, equally underwhelmed by the poor choice of veg. My son had 2 portions of fishfinger's chips and peas as you got free children's meals for each adult meal. On top of this free hot drinks included in the price, we had latte and tea. All good enough.Service at the till was a bit slapdash and abrupt. A clean cafe.A really good value midweek meal for the bargain price of £10.00 plus you get your Morrison's points."

Had a Mochatta and a Latte, and some small cakes. Yet again a long wait in the queue whilst the member of staff talked to their friends. Does good meals, and a clean cafe, a shame about the poor service.

We stopped by here for drinks this time. I had a delicious mochaccino and my wife enjoyed her latte. The cafe was clean and pleasant, with friendly staff. They also offer a good selection of meals, sandwiches, cakes, and snacks.

Came here for a weekday evening meal. I had a lamb shank with loads of lamb and very tasty. Only had chips left and no mashed potato so has a reasonable portion of chips with my meal. Only given peas with my meal no other veg, a bit dissapointing. Good service.

Had a latte each for me and my wife, the machine was not working at first, informed the staff who took a long time to resolve the issue with the machine dispensing the latte, and seemed disinterested. Decent Latte, lovely Eton Mess cake bar, and deserts. Clean and tidy cafe. View menu

One of my favourite points about Morrison's is their cafes. Went in again, clean cafe, with a good priced menu. I got some cakes and a sugar free lemon and lime drink, and my son a cup of tea. pleasant staff does a good range of meals including a decent cooked breakfast, and top quality fish and chips.

The ham, eggs, and chips were delicious with chunky fries, plenty of ham slices, and two fried eggs with runny yolks. My wife and son enjoyed their fish and chip meals, with my son having a pot of tea and my wife opting for a latte. I chose a flavored bottled water to drink. The total bill came to just over seven pounds. The service was excellent and the restaurant had good social distancing measures in place.

This restaurant offers delicious traditional English meals at an affordable price. The service was a bit slow due to a problem with the coffee machine, but the cashier was pleasant. I ordered gammon with chips and a fried egg, which was delicious. My wife enjoyed her fish and chips, and my son loved his sausage, egg, chips, and beans. The only downside was the limited choice of vegetables. Overall, it was a great meal with great value and a clean cafe. View menu

This is a fairly decent supermarket cafe Friendly and polite service. They did not have all of the advertised menu available with no chicken dishes. I opted for the Gammon, chips, fried egg and pea's, a delicious piece of gammon, lovely golden brown tasty chips, a great fried egg with a runny yolk, and fresh peas. My wife had Fish chips and peas which she always enjoys, tonight no exception. My son had fish-fingers, chips and beans, and chocolate biscuits and a drink as part of a kids meal. Along with tea and a flavoured water as kids ate for free this all came to just over £9.00 which is very good value.Worth getting a decent and good value cheap meal out if shopping in the supermarket.

We went here for our dinner as a family. My wife had the salmon, new potatoes and hollandaise sauce enjoying her meal apart from the peas which were like bullets. I had half a roast chicken which had lots of meat, and was tasty with a smallish amount of decent chunky chips, rock hard peas. My son had sausage, mashed potato, yorkshire pudding and veg. Found the sausage a bit overcooked,2 of our group had tea and I had a flavoured water all very pleasant.Children ate for free. Plus we had a £5.00 off voucher. So it all came to just over £7 which was amazing value.Fairly prompt service. Staff unaware of the voucher I presented but took it anyway, and you get Morrison's points. A good experience...

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."
