"the entrance to the "new shanghai" is anything but easy to find, it is not located on the Heilbronnnn but on the back of the Leitzstrasse. The buffet (ayce between 12 and 19 euro, depending on the daytime) is well equipped on the first look. However, it is only recommended to use the "teppanyaki grill" part, which is freshly prepared - and also only limited. seafood with "thai green curry" sauce is ok, but the quality of the meat is clearly declining.Sushi is limited to nigiri, maki and a few inside-out reels, even here I can only forgive just about three stars. the preliminary department does not even reach this level on this weekday at 20:00.Of course you must not place the same claims in the AYCE buffet as in the - also offered - a-la-carte variant, but in the face of the described qualtity I would not risk any further order here. The service is effective and objective (in contrast to being friendly), and in the shy away too."

It was a nice restaurant but I went for dinner and it was a little expensive and I found out it is much better priced for lunch. Good variety of food, mainly Thai.

because the hotel where we lived in stuttgart could not do so, we went to this nearby Asian restaurant. I had not expected to eat great food, great attention of the hired and a very reasonable price.

we were 9 people at dinner in new shanghai. very positiw was already arriving because the restaurant has numerous own tg parking spaces. unfortunately there were no à la carte dishes on the table card, only wise to the buffet. View menu

great restaurant with friendly staff. the buffet offers every quantity of choice, also for gluten allergy sufferers and vegetarians. even when eating, you have a lot of space in all directions and do not sit “on one another”. at any time.

eating is good! cozy dining room, around the buffet a little loud! Feeding are more normal average desserts rather 0815! you could expect something more unusual. the ice is e.g. from the cheapest sort! but for 18.50€ per person you can't expect more. I have been more often there I can recommend.

we were on 30.12.16 without a table to reserve. we were welcomed nicely and brought to a free table .the buffet is lush. the quality of the products quite fresh. only at the dessert(wind bag, pudding, ice cream) not so good, it was to my opinion after only finished products .w on the dessert not so great,is recommended. What a surprise! Heard good things about Shanghai & was invited to dinner there with friends on a Saturday evening... the buffet was amazing--huge selection, freshly prepared & ever so tasty! Really enjoyed the Mongolian BBQ & the wide variety of fresh meat cuts including kangaroo! Service was attentive & friendly... definitely recommended!!

Unfortunately we were disappointed: eating was partly already cold or empty, very greasy and not very authentic. at the tepanyaki one had other parts still with on the teller that one has not added to it.tiramisu, artificially tasting ice, cream brulée (which is also not) and pommes do not have to be.for 18.5 the price ratio is not true for us.Service fast and friendly!
