Nirvan - Menu

We drive more than two hours from Trier to come here and have the Persian cuisine and it was all worth it. We didn't want to leave. It was even better tasting than in Iran. If we could we would come here every week

Food and service are very good. Price is good. Come on Friday or Saturday to enjoy the life music at night. They also have a buffet for lunch time three times a week. Try this restaurant me and my family liked it a lot.

Es hat einfach gut geschmeckt.Das Lokal ist interessant eingerichtet. Man sitzt recht bequem und hat genügend Abstand zum nächsten Tisch.Interessante und leckere Vorspeise. Hauptgang auch sehr lecker und reichlich.Freundliche Bedienung.Wir werden wiederkommen.Parkhaus nur 300m entfernt.

We planned a visit to Cologne, to get some Persian food for long. By pure luck, we ended up in Nirvan instead of another Restaurant, and I am very much happy of this coincidence.Food was great, and tea tastes like what I used to have back home.It seems to be a family business, with some very polite people running it and a very charming and kind hostess, and of course, excellent chef

The restaurant has a great ambience and it's decorated quite beautifully. The starters were appetising; some sliced onion with radish, mint, cheese and Sangak bread. However, to my complete surprise, there were no vegetarian or fish main meals available on the menu. I just ordered a few starters. Everyone else was quite satisfied and happy with their lamb meals. The waitresses were friendly and the cheese was tasty; but I probably won't make another visit. (:

Most places were closed on Christmas eve and thankfully this wasn't. I ordered the lamb fillet with rice and fried tomato and it was simply perfect...very tender and tasty; the best I've had in a ling time. My wife had the sliced chicken with walnut sauce and it was also very good.Staff was very helpful; we did not have a reservation and they were able to set us up even though there didn't seem to be any free tables. They have live music fridays and saturdays at 20:00

We stumbled across this restaurant by accident and where up for a very pleasant surprise, When you see an All-you-can-eat lunch offered for only € 8.50 you don't expect much. In fact, the food offered was excellent, expertly cooked and very tasty. The spinach with plums was an interesting combination and left a lasting memory on the palate, the chicken kebab was just right as was the rest of the offering.Highly recommended and we will definitely return to try their a-la-carte offerings.

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal im Nirvan und wunderten uns heute wieder, dass dieses Lokal ziemlich leer ist. Kann man gar nicht verstehen, denn das Essen ist äußerst lecker, die Bedienung sehr freundlich, die Lage auch nicht versteckt, sondern im Prinzip leicht zu finden. Dienstag und Donnerstag ist abends auch Buffet, auch am heutigen Feiertag. Es gab verschiedene Vorspeisen, verschiedene Hühnerfleischgerichte und unglaublich aromatische Hackspießchen - ein Traum! Alles in allem ist dieses Lokal nur zu empfehlen. Wir kommen sicherlich gern wieder.

Lors de notre séjour à Cologne en famille, nous sommes passé devant ce restaurant, nous nous sommes dit, ca à l'air pas mal....Au depart, la serveuse très getille.Nous recevons nos entrées, j'ai reçu une sorte de plat d'oeufs brouillés mélangés avec des épinards sans aucun goût, aucunes épices, fade...bref degueu.J'étais en train de manger mon entrée que les plats sont arrivés, la serveuse m'a carrément retiré mon entrée et la mise sur un coin de la table pour me servir mon plat.Je lui fait la remarque "excusez moi, je suis encore en train de manger mon entrée et vous me retirez mon assiette"...seul réponse "sorry"Les plats des entrées etant toujours sur la table surchargée, j'ai du faire le...
