"I have eaten here in august 2019 with a friend from cagliari who strongly recommended this restaurant. it is located in a former medieval monastery, with high arched ceilings, with modern and trendy decor, for a unique and light edgy atmosphere. after a warm welcome we sat on a table on the leaf-shaped terrace at the front. we started with a selection of traditional Sardinian filled pasta, culurgiones in various aromes. my favorite was the one filled with kartoffel and asparagus and served with a local sausage, purpurzza in a pecorino saffron sauce. we also tried the traditional fregula (a round, roasted pasta, something like big couscous, but with a more beautiful taste and texture) with meeres fruits. here the fregula is served handmade, in contrast to the industrial versions that are served elsewhere. this was all accompanied by a beautiful, crisp and bright white wine, niuragus, produced by the restaurant owners. I would like to have tasted the frying pig (maialino da latte arrosto), but we were too crowded! for dessert we had the seedas a traditional roasted baked filled with a local cheese and dressed with Sardinian honey, and the pardula scomposta a modern, deconstructed version of another typical local desserts a fresh cheese with orange tea and crushed with a saffron. this was my first time in sardegna and that was a wonderful introduction to the Sardinian cuisine, with a modern and creative twist. I recommend you to order these dishes (their creative takes typical, classic local dishes), instead of what they can find elsewhere, for a truly unique experience. the owners use local, craft products and ingredients, and they can also buy some of these products in their shop, in the ferry terminal."
