"Quite enjoyed our first visit to but disappointed that we were not informed about the Specials' board which was blocked by Chinese guys in front of the board and messing around with mobile phones...so we missed our favourite starter Mussels ! It was nt busy when we arrived at so I think the waiter could have been a little more attentive. The food is a bit too expensive, though tasty. No-one picked up it was my wife's birthday though we added this on our booking form....so again attention to detail' was lacking. Not sure if we would return given all of the above."

This was our celebratory pre-Christmas lunch venue this year. It was also our first visit to this lovely little restaurant. Had a great time and would certainly recommend.

The food is one of the best I have tried in Oxford. The fish, port belly and lobster soup are highly recommended Only one thing disappointing is that the lunch set menu is not available (in December) although it is mentioned on the website.

We had lunch. Great contemporary menu. Well thought through sides. Everything well cooked. Good flavour. I didnât have wine but the list looked good. Tasteful and cosy interior with the odd bit of wear here and there. Good service. Would definitely go again.
