Ok food, Genovese style. A small place . Focaccia, pesto, pasta and fish. Not exactly my favorite but it was ok. I would not repeat.

small square. occupied for lunch. many take away commands. very few tables. good food. nice older couple has the place. cheap and good pasta.

It's unbelievable that something like this still exists in Rome, which is overcrowded with tourists: a cellar restaurant where you can get a few but authentic dishes, at prices for locals (who mainly visit the restaurant). What I didn't like was that only plastic dishes etc. were used. That doesn't have to be the case.

It's a lovely take away in the centre of Rome near the shopping area of the city at via del Corso. Two Italian women prepare different dishes you can combine to create your own meal. They also make fresh homemade pasta and gnocchi with pesto, sauce. It was great and is very affordable. I would highly recommend it, if you wanna eat homemade original Italian food on a low budget.
