great atmosphere and faster, friendly service. . great hoteliers and personal, comfortable beds and very clean. in a beautiful village and a great one to explore.

we were looking for a place to eat on 26 December. the first we searched was not opened, but ochsen it was. charming decor, friendly staff, tasty, large portion meals at reasonable trips. the service was also fast.

We stopped at this restaurant during a coach tour of Southern Germany. It is a little way from the main motorway, but well worth the detour. The food was excellent and very plentiful. The service was excellent despite the fact that there were 38 of...us! The welcome was warm and, although the restaurant was full, we were not hurried out at the end. Well recommended.

with my wife for three nights at crusader holidays. hotel and staff very good. bedroom was a little small but sufficient for three nights. eating and waiting personal first class. the owner knows how to take care of his guests, nothing was too much. his entertaining skills were most pleasant and his wife took care of guests well. all in all a very pleasant short stay.

stopped here for lunch to go from Austria on a Leger coach tour and come. because they offer a set menu for 15euros with 3 choices for the meal plus salat, unlimited fries (which were very good) plus a knickerbocker. glory with the most delicious ice cream I tasted in a long time, plus coffee or brandy. Stayed with my wife for three nights with Crusader Holidays. Hotel and staff very good. Bedroom was a little small but adequate for three nights. Food and waiting staff first class. The owner certainly knows how to look after his guests, nothing was too much...trouble. His entertainment skills were most enjoyable and his wife looked after guests well. we have eaten here at lunchtime when we arrived on a Leger bus tour from and to Austria. as they are mainly suitable for groups, they offer a fixed menu for 15 euro with 3 choices for the meal plus salat, unlimited pommes (which were very good) as well as a buckling-bocker green with the most delicious ice I have been trying for a long time, plus coffee or snaps. (we asked for schnapps and they were happy to be ready) worth the money.

This hotel is a little bit outside of the city of Kehl, close to the border of France, when I found this restaurant , I could check that it was an old Alsacian building with a big terrace. The waiters were dressed with regional clothes...and the meal (rumpsteak with potatos and butter )were very good. Prices are not very expensive because is a good quality restaurant, bier and wine are the typics of the region and the desset was a Black Forest ice-cream, the terrace is ideal for stay in summer, fantastic night there.
