"After a fruitless tour trying to find somewhere to sit down and eat drink, we came across this place, we first sat down and ordered beer and asked the server to try and find a table for which was a big ask as...most places were full! After a few minutes a table became free and so we ordered food, which was brought to us fairly quickly and was excellent! A mixture of schnitzels, steaks and beef all with lashings of potatos and salad were devoured as were a few glasses of Altbier. Not sure what it would be like any other days, but this cold,Saturday night it was pretty gemütlich . The staff very friendly and helpful too. Would certainly go again."

You should update your photos , the ones you use are very old and don’t show the charm of this nice restaurant

Turned up without a reservation (and without checking out the reviews and was pleasantly surprised. Great service, food (and plenty of it) and of course beer. View menu

Quite a nice place it was. The beer was good, salads were great and other dishes as well. We did have a good time and it was within walking distance from the old city and downtown.

the ohme jupp' is one of the places in düsseldorf you meet artists, lawyers, business peolpe without any prejudices. located close to the famous school of fine arts the ohme jupp still hosts a lot of young and well settled artists. famous clubs such as.. creamcheese' and ratinger hof' have disappeared, the ohme jupp is still alive!

On a manic Friday evening when the strip that is Ratinger Str. was completely jammed with visitors swelled by those in town for the following days Duss v Schalke local derby we managed to perch ourselves on one of the outside pavement tables for ohme...Jupp and experienced efficient and friendly service for a couple of rounds of Schlosser Alt before heading deeper into the Altstadt.

We arrived in late on a Friday evening looking for dinner and a drink. The kitchen was closing soon, but it was no trouble to accommodate us and they even had an English language menu to help you choose. The food was terrific and the...service was excellent too. Skip the chaotic brewery places across the road and go here instead for a more relaxed experience with equally high standard food and drink. Well worth a visit.
