"Ordered a Monty breakfast, 2 lasagne and a jacket potatoe ... lady in back spent nearly 10 minutes first on her knees in the freezer just behind the till and then went off to a garage building at the back. After this time she came back to say they could do lasagne but no jackets left. Seems these are just kept in a freezer for when someone orders something other than a fry up. My son ordered a half portion, his was fine but mine still had cold spots in the middle where it hadn't microwaved properly. Waitress had disappeared to the kitchen after shed finished giving plates out to other customers so couldn't complain without big fuss, also hubby had already about finished his meal by the time mine arrived so didn't want to wait longer. Dd ended up with chilli and chips ... chilli was flavourless. Hubby ordered a full monty breakfast ... this was fine and seems this is the only thing that the staff expect to serve. A guy came in for a tuna and sweetcorn sandwich whilst we were in ... same story ... had to wait to find out if they had sweetcorn! Even if they don't expect to serve other menu items at least they could keep a record by the till of what they do and don't have. A nice setting for a breakfast but I'd avoid if you are wanting anything other than a fry up."

Almost like a small Fifty 's diner. Basic breakfast, Burger joint. The decor is all 'Mod ' collages and collectables. For a cheap, atmospheric bite, it 's a fun stop.

Great place for scooter enthusiasts to gather, whether you ride a Lammy or a Vespa. Regular group rides and a welcoming atmosphere. The food is delicious and reasonably priced.

Great food, great service in 1960's style cafe. I have been here often on a Sunday morning and its the meeting place for a scooter rideout. Very friendly staff, great decor too. Also 1960's music playing in the background. View menu

Whenever Northern Irish people go to England, we always find it difficult to get a brekkie comparable with back home. This was the closest we got. The bread on the bacon egg sandwich was great, and the sausages actually tasted like proper sausages. Quirky little place with mod and scooter decor. Loved it. Outside the city but worth scooting up that direction to get some decent food and see the antiques shops.

Step back in time to the 1960s at this restaurant where the owners, who are true Mod enthusiasts, run the show. The decor is charming and the food is delicious and straightforward. The coffee is excellent and the staff are a diverse and interesting group. This is the top spot in Sheffield for classic dishes like chips, eggs, and beans. Don't hesitate, just come and experience this delightful gem of a restaurant.

Service with a smile to take my order, let down by being told that poached eggs are not generally available, so I said fried would be fine. There are dozens of YouTube videos showing the universe how to do perfect poached eggs so it was a bit irritating. My freshly cooked breakfast was very good though, with excellent bacon, nice earthy mushrooms and a tasty fried slice. Nice atmosphere and knocked down to 4 stars due to the lack of ambition in the eggs department. View menu

I had the full breakfast for £5. While the price was fair, there were several issues with the meal. I asked for crispy bacon but it was still undercooked. The hash brown tasted like old cooking oil and the tomatoes were tinned without any warning on the menu. The mushrooms were soggy and the toast was stacked on top of the beans and tomatoes, making it mushy. On the positive side, the coffee was good, the egg was well-cooked, and the sausages were tasty. The restaurant had a nice 60s style diner interior. Overall, although the breakfast could be improved with better cooking techniques and fresh ingredients, it was decent for the price.

Called in here the morning after my works Christmas party with a sore head and a hungry belly. I was greeted with a friendly smile and a warm welcome. There was only one thing I fancied to cure my hangover, a full English. There it was right at the top of the menu, The Full Monty; 2 bacon, 2 eggs, 2 sausage, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes, hash brown, black pudding, 2 toast and a mug of tea, all for a fiver. That was it I placed my order and sat down. The place is decorated in a cool retro diner style with scooter paraphernalia and music memorabilia on the walls. A few minutes later a was presented with my breakfast. I wolfed it down and enjoyed every mouthful. I'll definitely be back again. Oh...
