Lovely place to sit and have something to eat, either inside or outside. Very good food with range of options - good value

A very good experience! Great place in wonderful Hildesheim in the middle of the town. Nice food and smiling staff ???? a great atmosphere. Don't forget your costumes inside when you are busy with customer outside ????

What a nice surprice this place turned out to be, just across from our hotel. We had four different dinner plates for our family and everything was absolutely delicious. Salads, burger, schnitzel, potatoes... and lots of chantarelles. Would love to come back one day. View menu

Das Restaurant befindet sich in einem ziemlich alten Haus das aber gut gepflegt ist. Die Einrichtung ist dementsprechend rustikal. wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Speisekarte beinhaltet viel einheimisches. Der Service war freundlich und schnell. Uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt.

Posizione ideale per mangiare qualcosa nel dehor nello splendido scenario della markt platz ricostruita. In realtà come ristorante non è nulla di eccezionale e i prezzi risentono un tantino della location. Vi abbiamo assaggiato una crema di funghi , un hamburger gigante e rolatine di vitello morbide. Il personale è gentile.

Ristorante caratteristico in una casa a graticcio sede della congregazione dei macellai, nella splendida piazza principale. Ottima carne locale , abbiamo preso un roastbeef con porzioni giuste e ottima birra. Anche i dolci buoni soprattutto la torta di mele. Lo consiglio anche perché diverso dal solito ristorante tedesco per turisti. View menu

Leider kann ich nicht viel positives Schreiben. Nach 20 min ohne die Möglichkeit ein Getränk oder Essen zu bestellen haben wir uns ein anderes Restaurant gesucht. Die Lage ist sehr zentral mit wunderschönem Fachwerkhaus.Da geht eindeutig mehr. Wünsche dem Inhaber das er mehr draus macht, ist schließlich ein Restaurant und keine Wartehäuschen.

I am suprised to see the good reviews on Tripadvisor. Nice location and we got to do the orders fast. The waitress brought pencils for Our children. I had Snitzel With chanterelles. The snitzel was not crispy, the layer on top fell off all the way because it was so soggy. And the mushrooms were wet and also soggy. It was disapointing that going to Germany, and not getting the snitzel you been looking forward to.No cleaning off the table, not asking for more drinks and not asking if the Food was good.

We had the beer and sparkling apple juice both excellent. We shared an entree of caramelised goats cheese loved the flavours eaten with 2 types of bread and a great flavoured salad. For mains a beef roulade with red cabbage and potatoes and a pork with herb butter, sour cream and potatoes and another flavoured salad all being really great. The menu is in German with English subtitles that makes it easy for us. The waitress who spoke to us in USA accented English was so good and so helpful and we enjoyed our conversations with her as she was so sociable.
