"Staying in San Benedetto Del Tronto we fancied having something a bit less holiday and a bit more traditional Italian, and set off coaxing our little rental Fiat 500 up the steep inclines to Monteprandone. Once there we went into the beautifully arranged and intimate setting of Osteria 1887. We 're foodies at home but weren 't overly sure of likely quantities etc, so we just went for the set menu for two at a ridiculously cheap €30. The meal amounted to five courses plus water, breads, and coffee (for which I had no room left). Particular mention would go to the crisply coated stuffed olives, the finely cut courgette fries, the delightfully light and delicate ravioli, and the beautifully seared lamb. A half litre of an enjoyable lightly sparkling rosé added only €2 to the bill unbelievable! At a total of €32, don 't think it 's too cheap to be good back home I 'd not hesitate to pay more than double that for the same meal and I 'd still be walking away happy. With the polite and quick service on top, we wouldn 't hesitate to recommend this place."

Dopo una passeggiata in questo borgo carinissimo, abbiamo cenato in questa osteria molto caratteristica. Ottima cena e un bravo alla gentilissima cameriera. Consiglio sicuramente una sosta.

siamo stati in grotta, ambiente riservato e caratteristico, tavoli ben divisi per coppie, unici contro l'umidità e l'odore, ma capisco che è parte integrante dell'ambiente, ottima qualità dei prezzi!

We stayed in Monteprandone for a week and dined at Osteria twice. The location is very nice and romantic. Both the times we stayed in the cave part of the osteria which made the atmosphere even nicer and more special. The food is very tasty and the portions are decent. Staff willing to explain everything about the food and the place. We had a really lovely experience and would recommend it when you are in area. View menu

ai piedi della parete centro città, c'è questa taverna, specializzata in carne. il locale è semplice, ma la preparazione del personale su cibo e vini, così come i preparativi lo qualificano. Carne molto buona, servita e preparata per il meglio per tutti. buona scelta di vini locali a prezzi corretti. Non piena attenzione alle norme covidi; il personale indossa correttamente la maschera ma il passaggio verde non è stato richiesto.

Visiteted this restaurant with my friends for dinner. Asked for me vegetables. They brought uncooked beans, few potatoes, a slice of aubergine and a slice of zucchini, a few cheese. For this nothing they asked to pay 25 euro! What a shame!!!!! The meat for my friends was not tasty at all, stinking . After dinner we were all hungry, went to eat again to another restaurant. Scandaloso!!!!! Will never go again even gratis. Incredible greed!
