The Katzkmacher is a rather big, not too cozy place with decor from the or so. Food is good but not worth the rather steep prices. not going to be our favourite Italian place in Munich

I knew the place from old times and just remembered it was pricey. In fact it’s still higher priced, but worth EVERY cent we spent. Just good food throughout the course dinner and a PERFECT service. I will be back

Stopped for dinner here having been in Italy for a few days but thought the food here far superior to what we'd had in Italy! Great service - lovely plate of taster size starters and then spaghetti with pork cheek ragu for main. Superb. It only serves a few starters, mains etc but what it does it does well. Ci siamo recati al gran completo. Io mia moglie e i miei tre figli. Ci hanno accolto molto bene nonostante non sia un ristorante adatto per famiglia. Non e' un ristorante a prezzi super competitivi, ma come scrivo spesso io se volete mangiare bene e con poco all'estero, state a casa. Noi siamo stati molto ed il prezzo tutto sommato commisurato ad un buon ristorante italiano.Lo consiglio vivamente

Conseguimos uma mesa sem realizar pre reserva numa 6ª a noite. Não há cardápio fixo. Os pratos são bons, apesar de caros e com porções menores para o padrão alemão. Pedimos ossobuco, tortelli (massa recheada) e carré de cordeiro que estavam muito bons, porém o risoto de camarão só apresentava uma (isso mesmo 1) unidade do crustáceo! Questionamos ao simpático garçon que nos informou que era isso mesmo!
