Was in Munich at a hotel close by, wife told me to choose. I chose Osteria. Was empty and quiet. Seemed like it was a family affair. The food was to die for, I had the best veal cutlet I have ever ordered. Fresh is...an understatement, chocolate soufflé for dessert. This place was the BEST

we ate here both nights we were in Munich. The first night we apparently crashed a birthday party who were having a wonderful time, it was infectious. The food was great. Tried a couple of dishes which were new to us. We were with a...vegetarian and an year old and had such a great time and perfect food we went back the next night

Really authentic Italian restaurant. Nice atmosphere but can quickly get too noisy. Service a tad erratic but was not slow albeit quiet when we were there. Excellent meat dishes and pasta perfect. Very good wine list and reasonably priced too. But beware when the...bill arrives it is cash only and who carries bundles of cash these days!

We went there by a recommendation of a friend and can confirm that the food is nice. However we were missing the typical dishes from the Veneto area such as liver and bigoli con anatra. The hostess told us that the German patrons are not...estimators of these dishes and that the staff would need to eat these themselves! All in all good food and kind service, but for pasta dishes and apetizers, no wine only water, is a bit over the top

Came here on the advice of a colleague and it was perfect. From the moment we entered we felt as if we were in Italy. The wonderful atmosphere lets you leave all your daily work and worries at the door. The staff is professional, warm...and friendly. The place is beautiful and unique, the service is second to none and the food delicious. The restaurant was right by our hotel and we felt in love just passing by. What a beautiful and unique place. The owners and staff make sure you are...pleased every step of the way. We highly recommend the “Carre” lamb but the menu changes daily. There is no paper menu, they will bring a tall black board handwritten the plates in chalk. Ask for a plate with truffle. As you sit down they already bring some appetizers to start the evening. Everything was delicious

My friend and I planned to have an Italisn meal at Jazzbar Vogler prior to listening to the live music. However the owner said they had stopped serving meals and recommended we eat at the Osteria Veneta nearby. It was a five minute walk from...Vogler and we found it without trouble. It is a lovely authentic Italian Osteria run by an Italian lady. She was not fluent in English so we communicated partly in bad Italian. The food was delicious and the dish she recommended, thinly sliced potatoes covered with thinly slices black truffles a kind of truffle pizza was extremely good. The Primitivo wine we drank with the meal was excellent. Highly recommended

Another restaurant choice by my husband, who insists on eating Italian food as often has he can. We had walked past this place and it seemed to be never open, even when I had called to get a reservation, I was placed in voice messaging....So I was not keen on the results. But, finally my husband booked a reservation and our dining experience was so enjoyable and lovely. The atmosphere was delightfully welcoming, cozy and comfortable. We were looking for something beyond the standard schnitzel and sausage fare on our last night in Munich, when we spotted Osteria Veneta near the Viktualmarkt. From the moment we entered, we knew it was a special place. The restaurant is intimate and elegant ...run by the most charming Italian couple who also do most of the cookingpreparation. A rolling chalkboard is used to highlight the daily specials, which the owner describes with much passion.
