"We were exploring Paris and wanted to try local cusine, avoiding big names and fast food places. Having eaten in a brasserie and a pavement cafe, a traditional boulangerie (bakery) seemed a next choice. We could not have been luckier. We walked past this place and it had a big queue. A good sign, so we joined it.The place is tiny - only a couple of seats so everyone buys and leaves. But the queue moves fast and the service is friendly. It has lots of baguettes, quiches, and other savouries, along with some lovely desserts and a cold drink fridge. We had a Fougasse with cheese & tomato and a Quiche with bacon & cheese. Both served warm, with a chocolate eclair and a flan nature (looks like cheesecake tastes like creme brulee) and drinks. This cost 15.50 euros - excellent value for the very high quality. We walked a few minutes and ate in the lovely park Square du Vert Gallant overlooking the Seine. Brilliant lunch. If you are walking near the Notre Dame on Ile de Cite this little authentic shop is very close - try it out!"

A very good bakery. Hakim is hyper sociable and in the heart on the hand. The prices are very good for the neighborhood and we eat very well. NB: We can pay by card from 1€ and this is the price of coffee.

Their black bread is excellent, fine tarts, kouglofs and brioches are to fall... You do not live very close, but you pass as often as possible (we are very greedy) and the black bread can keep at least five days... In addition, the welcome is really nice. View menu
