While South Tyrol is all about wines, Panholzer is a wine house of class and atmosphere. We tasted Burgunder and Merlot with tasty ham and sausages. Nothing more to say! Just do it!!

Plus good parking tastefully renovated interior Minus food menu small wine menu all right but not outstanding tartar too hot Summary: well visited by local ‚trendsetters‘. Neither a real restaurant, nor a serious wine bar. 3.5 points adequate View menu

I've been here a couple of times suggested by Manincor staff, I have to say that the location first amazing, a nice combo of old and new in the südtirol way....the service and of course the food were excellent..it's worth to get there and have an experience. Thanks

Easy to park or to walk to if you are staying on Lake Kalterersee. The food is delicious and light. The menu changes every two weeks, and the suggest local wine pairings with each dish, which were a great value. We ate there three times for dinner in the week we were on the lake.

We had a women from our hotel recommend this, and lord are we glad! Food was incredible! Pros are they spoke a decent amount of English, and the Brushetta was awesome. Cons are the pasta with speck was too salty. My giant pork chop with mushrooms and French Toast!(who knew!!!! was great. Would come again. View menu

If you want a special dinner experience this is the place to go. Prices are worth the food and wine served in a beautiful ambiance and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We liked especially the wine pairings to each course. If you want to go there for dinner we recommend to call for table reservation .

We came here for lunch during our vacation and had a couple of small dishes and wine.Panholzer is located in what seems a Masseria and it all makes for a very rustic ambience. Specially considering that mass tourism along the lake is not far away. Based on the experience we invited our italian friends for dinner later in the week. Again service etc. was good, but frankly I was disappointed by the quality of the food. I had a goldbrass I think I remember, but the poor thing was so skinny, there wasn´t much taste to it. Disappointed. Price quality is a bit out of sink I believe.

"I stumbled upon Siegi's by chance while exploring the South Tirol wine region on a sunny autumn day. Siegi's is an extremely small restaurant, having four tables in the dining room and two tables in the bar area and five stools at the bar. The restaurant is cozily decorated for informal dining and it is more like being in someone's nice home rather than a restaurant. Tables have paper placemats, paper napkins, everyday utensils plus a great steak knife. Three types of regional artisan breads were served in a paper bag. Siegi speaks limited English though he was helpful in explaining items on his menu. The menu is written in German on a chalkboard and there were two or three types of antipasto dishes to choose from, two soups, two pasta dishes and four or five entrees and one dessert. I started my meal with an assortment of five bruschetta's; each topped with a different topping and all very delicious. One was topped with strips of speck (cured smoked ham); another with marinated eggplant; another with sliced lard and an anchovy; another with fresh tomatoes and the last was topped with a Gorgonzola type cheese. I then enjoyed a large bowl of linguini tossed with small cubes of tender beef in a scrumptious tomato sauce. The portion was generous in size and I used some of the bread to mop up the remaining sauce. Prices were reasonable with the above meal, plus a glass of wine, a small bottle of water and a cafe totaled 25 Euros. I enjoyed my meal and the setting so much that I plugged Siegi's into my navigator as a saved favorite for the next time I'm the area. I highly recommend Siegi's to the TripAdvisor community."
