"We visited for Sunday lunch and the pub was quite busy with both diners and drinkers. We ordered from the Sunday Lunch menu which I did think was on the pricy side. £20 for 3 course meal. I'm not sure if that is the norm for the area though. Although the food as OK in fact the veg was very well cooked and I enjoyed the red cabbage, I found the potion size on the small side, everything is presented on the plate and I was left feeling I could have eaten a bit more, I wouldn't class myself as a hearty eater. Extra's were available at a cost. From what I remember small amount of mash, a roast potato, peas, carrots and red cabbage. One small yorkshire pud piled in the centre of the plate with 2 slices of meat. Salt in the grinder was table salt granules which went everywhere and no horseradish. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Good dog friendly environment"

As a group of 12 friends on holiday in accommodation close to the pub, we all enjoyed a fabulous meal with very welcoming staff and brilliant hospitality. We would highly recommend.

We arrived ahead of our reservation time and we were not rushed , thought we would have a drink before our Sunday lunch. We had garlic mushrooms followed by roast beef which was excellent!

My hubby and I visited while weekending in Anglesey. Absolutely amazing place. Staff were so friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. Lovely to have freshly cooked food which was beautifully presented. Will definitely be back next season.

We were driving by and saw the sign for Welsh Sunday Lunch and we were not disappointed. The lamb and beef were tender and tasty. The roast potatoes were delicious and I loved the mash which I normally don't eat. Pudding was good. The staff were lovely, welcoming and helpful. If we lived nearer it would become our regular Sunday lunch place. Delicious.

We called by chance on a busy Sunday afternoon, explaining that we needed a secluded table to accommodate our Autistic son who doesn’t like crowded spaces. Upon arrival, the staff had opened (and heated) a separate are of the dining room, making us feel so welcome. The Sunday lunches, and drinks were brilliant, if we are ever visiting the area again we would return without hesitation. Thank you.

Three of us went for a late Sunday roast dinner today. As we are all hearty eaters, we were a little worried about a previous review. We didn’t need to be! I couldn’t finish my lamb dinner and I’m a huge eater lol! All three of us loved the whole meal. Meat veg sides etc were cooked to perfection and very tasty. And as far as price goes for a roast dinner and pudding all made on the premises £18! Exceptional VFM! Da iawn The Panton, lovely friendly staff and top quality roast we will be back! Sorry for bringing my own redcurrant jelly

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The welcoming atmosphere, delicious home-cooked food, and cozy log burner made it truly exceptional. After trying out numerous supposedly dog-friendly places across Anglesey, I can confidently say that this was the best one. The staff, the owner, and other guests were all very friendly. The pizzas were incredibly tasty, and the chef even accommodated my son's genetic condition, PKU. This was genuinely the nicest pub we visited on Anglesey. They also served great pints and wine. Overall, a fantastic dining experience.

"I've been to Dylans in Menai Bridge and always enjoyed it not this time. For the first half of our visit there was a stinging blue haze hanging in the air; the kitchen extractors clearly weren't functioning properly. Fortunately this cleared for the second hour we were there. Now to the service; after taking our drinks orders we waited nearly 15 minutes for them. Later, after staff had passed our empty glasses 20 times, we managed to order some second drinks by catching their attention. The food was the main problem; minuscule starters of crab and Welsh rarebit. My pizza came as a real surprise (as others have mentioned in previous reviews); gone is the thin crusted, well filled pizza of the past. The pizza is now about 20% smaller and my daughter mentioned that it looked like a child's portion. However, the main problem was the total lack of filling; there was a huge gap for at least an inch all round the pizza which was just fluffy dough. There were five tiny mussels on it and when I picked the mussel shells up they were so overcooked the shells turned to carbonised dust. I counted three tiny slices of red chilli. As others have mentioned, I realise the industry is having a hard time the price of the pizzas haven't gone up but the quantity and quality has plummeted and I would rather pay more to enjoy my meal. The pudding order came and was wrong. When the hot cross bun pudding came out it was still only on the wrong side of lukewarm. Don't get me started on the price of a pint of Aspalls £7.25, a price I would expect to pay in London. And before Lisa R replies that they would have replaced a dish, it would have been replaced with a similar disappointing dish....and no one bothered to ask us if everything was OK either during or after the meal anyway."
