"Walked in looking for a quick meal. The staff were very friendly and worked hard to communicate in English, earning solid a gold star. The beers were also good. The experience took a dark turn when trying to interpret what exactly was available on the...menu between an outdated English menu, an updated menu in German, which I tried to decipher with my abhorrent understanding of Deutsch and an unlucky staff member doing her best to help. The menu comprised around of sausages, so the vegetarian options were limited to Disappointment Pie. The menu's translator unfortunately hadn't worn their effort-giving-hat that day, and the menu was a puzzling combination of German names with English descriptions and ordering food turned out to be a bit of a game of chances. I ended up ordering something called Kräuter Spätzle, which I assumed in the basis of the description to be a cheese platter of local cheeses with salad and bread. This was one of two options I was almost convinced were the vegetarian options. Determined to have a good time, we sat down and waited for our food with our drinks for a period that felt like the orbital cycle of Neptune. Lots of people came in while we were waiting, and I'm sure a good few got their food served before us (it could have been a bit of a sudden rush, no blame on the nice staff). Finally, as we had nearly finished our drinks waiting, I was presented with a greenish, mess with salad on the side, which definately tasted of pesto and almost definately contained cheese. I was confused about what I was eating, and even more confused about whether it was what I really ordered. I could still have sworn it was supposed to include bread. Still, tasted quite nice. Even if I couldn't figure out what it actually was. The meal truly turned sour when it was time to get the cheque, and I discovered they only accepted German debit cards, meaning I had to go find a cash machine late at night. I spent ages stressing out and looking for a machine, and after walking a whole **** kilometer down the street, I was hungry again. Went to Burger King afterwards and had a much better experience for half the cost. +frienly staff +selection of beers and wines +dedication to sausages -english menu -price in relation to portions -payment options -poor vegetarian and fish options."

There are many good places to eat in Münster, I would not recomend this one. The food is nothing special, more its not tasty! But worst of all the owner does not pay his workers their sallary.

Their signature dish is the Schäufele as in the picture above. Basically delicious tender roast pork shoulderblade with crispy skin, an amazing sauce, and dumplings. Everything else on the menu is fantastic too with a good selection of beers. View menu

I would hazard a guess that this is a favourite with the locals. Simple, nicely prepared food. Quiet but excellent service. I even liked the furniture and china. I think we would go here every week if we lived here, but sadly we don't. If...you want a break from fancy, and need something unpretentious with a heart, this is the place for you.

A local favourite selling traditional german fairy and beers brewed by the restaurant. Very well priced food and excellent quality. Daily specials vary a lot and so there is always plenty to choose from. The beers are brewed in-house and are excellent. At least three...on fraught to choose from. Very friendly staff. A relaxed atmosphere. A truly wonderful place to take visitors to Hamburg.

This is one of our favourite local restaurants in Hamburg. The food daily specials always vary so there is always plenty of new dishes to choose from. The standard of food is excellent. The beers are brewed in house. They gave some great beers to...taste. The menu varies from cheap dishes to moderately priced so there in something for everyone. The staff are very friendly. It is a really great place to take friends and have a good time and a good meal.
