The concierge from our hotel recommended this little bar. He said this is where the locals go. Great wine selection, friendly staff and reasonable prices.A little gem.

Paris bar has a nice menu for small bites to sample with a nice wine from their extensive wine list. The place is very small, so either come early or with a reservation. Perfect in summer, when you can sit in their nice garden in front of the bar.

We love this place to have a night out with friends. It is noisy, crowded and small - but this makes for a great busy place, if you want to have the feeling you are living. We go there with friends normally to have some food and excellent wine with talks. The vibrations are just right here!

A small and intimate wine and coffee bar serves wonderful large snacks like avocado stuffed with shrimps or Sunday brunch with eggs and cheeses. Don't forget the bubbly. Warmer weather allows for outside seating and a view of the sidewalk parade of shoppers and locals. The European version of the American TV show Cheers.

Small but cosy, always busy but a reservation is possible. The wine card is fantastic, small dishes in the card simple but really delicious :) The service is extremely friendly and helpful to get through the jungle of wine jewels they offer. I really enjoy the smell and noise of that place. It's a perfect topping after a hard working day or after the shopping tour on saturday :) Full points :) View menu

The atmosphere of this wine bar in Sachsenhausen is welcoming, quaint yet sophisticated. I met a friend for a quick bite before heading off to hear some blues and it was a perfect choice. The wine list is extensive and the shrimp in avocado we ordered could not have been more enjoyable. This place appears to be a well kept secret favored by the locals, so much so the restaurant does not have business cards. I hesitate recommending this spot for fear it will become too crowded but what they heck... They deserve a positive shout out for being so cool. Reservations are highly recommended.

Paris is the first name of the owner, no relation to the city or —as far as is known— to the madcap Hilton heiress.This is an intimate wine bar in Frankfurt's left-bank Sachsenhausen district, tucked behind some hedges on a street just off the Schweizer Platz. It was just what I happened to be looking for —without actually knowing whether I'd find one— following an afternoon at museums and just prior to dinner at a nearby apfelweinlokal.Though Paris' Bar appears not to be unknown to some out-of-town visitors, it's by no means a touristic spot, as are the apfelweinlokals, even if most of the tourists are German.The casual visitor should not fear to tread...

My hubby and I went to this petite cafe on a lazy Sunday. It is a very small cafe. On the day we went there was only one person working so the service was slow. If we were in a hurry, it would have been very annoying, but it was a Sunday and we had nowhere else to go; it was fine. I felt sorry for the male server because he was doing everything from making omelettes, taking orders, clearing table, greeting patrons, etc. I hope it was an exception that day and that usually the cafe has more than one person working there at a time.
