"Paul is a good venue and this bakery at Tower of London is well-situated for visitors to the tower. There is a good range of products and although it was busy there was enough room to find a place to sit. The man who appeared to be the manager (was he French? was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the young woman who served us was one of the most miserable assistants I have ever encountered. She cheered up for her lunch break when sat with a friend and enjoyed animated conversation. However, when dealing with us all she would say was, 'anything else? ' It 's a shame as her surly and distant attitude marred what otherwise could have been a nice visit. What a contrast to her colleague at St Paul 's the next day!"

We had an impromptu visit here for lunch while we were in the area. The views were great and it was nice to be able to sit outside too. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was tasty. Definitely glad we gave it a try!

Excellent location with wonderful views of Tower Bridge from both the outside tables and inside (especially the bar area by the window). Paul makes consistently good French pastries and sandwiches, although they are a little on the pricey side.

Nice spot for a coffee and a pastry whilst looking across to the Thames. Good selection of sweet treats and a nice coffee. Staff positive and informative. Good recommendations for what to munch on and a tasty coffee. Nice bench seats to enjoy the view. View menu

This was a lovely spot to enjoy morning coffee and the superb cakes on offer. Would have preferred a china cup, but current circumstances dictate. The summer obviously allowers the bakers to flourish and the cakes using fresh strawberries were superb. Credit too to the staff keeping the outside terrace clean and inviting.

Disappointing. Had the most amazing experience at Paul Johannesburg, Melrose Arch. Proper and elegant sit down service in South Africa. Made me feel that Paul was an elegant cafe. This Paul at Three Quays is a boring and mundane chain store with crappy paper ups. Even Starbucks is more fun. But, the barista was a nice guy.

During a day sightseeing in London we got off a boat at Tower Gateway. We decided to pop into Paul’s for a snack and was extremely surprised at the choice of sandwiches/cakes and importantly very reasonable prices. Despite it being a busy tourist area we found an outside table. Staff were friendly as well. Excellent value for money. View menu

We were on a sight seeing visit with the grandchildren, it was the youngest ones 12th birthday, they got to choose from the beautiful array of cakes on display, we bought birthday candles, the waiter lit the bithday girls cake with a flourish much to her embarrassment we sang happy birthday, lovely afternoon tea with great scenery to boot.

Located right next to the Tower of London, overlooking the River Thames, this restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes and exceptional service. The small heated pods outside the main building are perfect for small business or social gatherings. Whether you're looking for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you can enjoy a special meal here. The staff are friendly and eager to assist with directions and recommendations for tourists. Customers can relax and take their time, with a variety of newspapers available while they wait.

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
