"Not a high end San Sebastián restaurant by any means but a good choice if your looking for a well prepared, very reasonably priced meal. We had a nice long “menu” lunch on a rainy afternoon which for me, included a rice/mussels starter, a very well prepared and tasty cod entree and a yogurt dessert. My wife had an extremely good chickpea starter, a lightly breaded hake and a tarte-like dessert. It was 12.50 euros per person with a bottle of white wine! Clearly one of the better deals in town. The café is in Gros, less than a ten minute walk from Old Town. There’s is both indoor and covered outdoor seating and understandably, seems pretty popular with locals."

Great value set menu which included a bottle of wine. Had to use google translate for menu but best value of our stay. Pork with Roquefort sauce was best but steak also fine. Garlic fried cauliflower an acquired taste. Note that on a Thursday night this street is rammed as it's a drink and a pintxos for 2 euro in most bars! View menu

the value-price ratio, in both food and attention, is not bad, although for 27 euros per person, expected something else. Obviously, it is not expensive, but not cheap. the salad, well; the scramble of mushrooms, no more, and the txipirones, rich, but also, without more. the waiter, very attentive and very voluntary, but there was only one for many tables and eaters on the toooooda the terrace, so the waits were long. Anyway, that's usually good, but not rocket launchers.

so you can have an idea of what this place is telling them that every time I can eat here every week. they have a menu of the day that changes it in part every day, something that is to thank, and with a very good price that for now is 15 euros in which the dessert and the coffee is included. but it's not that the price is good, it's that the food is really good, put some lentils and are delicious, put merluza bounced and made on her point and juicy, and so with all the dishes I've tasted there. The attention of the staff is magnificent, with whom the greatest deal is with the idling, which offers very good attention.
