Pizza Hut Brighton Marina

Not a good visit, the coffee cup and milk jug my husband had was dirty. It didn’t give a good impression of their hygiene standards

Me and my family went to Brighton for the afternoon, and as we got there for lunch, we decide to stop off at the Pizza Hut by the Marina. It was a good place to have a quick bite for lunch. Would recommend if you need a quick pitstop before going to the beach.

Pizza was dry and burnt, when I told the waiter he said that’s because the ovens have been on all day and are hot! What a poor excuse!, I’ve eaten in lots of places and never heard anything like this! £80 for 2 dry burnt pizza and 4 drinks ! Terrible I would never go back and do not recommend this place. After a bumpy start because they could not allow customers in until exactly 12noon and it was pouring outside, we found great staff in the end and a fresh hot well stocked buffet. We had four children aged 7yrs to 12yrs who all absolutely loved it. They loved the choices, being able be independent in serving themselves and the salad, pasta and pizzas were sooo good. The crushed ice and drinks machine and the ice cream factory just topped it off for them. They want yo go tomorrow!

Visited at lunchtime just after 1pm and was shocked to see hardly any choice for pizza on the buffet, and no more pizzas were made or presented during the 30 minutes we were there. What there was, was cold, even the pasta, and the salad bar was tasteless with runny coleslaw, soft cucumber. Complained to the server who did nothing. Complained to head office afterwards and was told there was nothing they could do because food was consumed ! Extraordinary lack of customer care. Won 't ever go back to a Pizza Hut now. Avoid.

What happened to Pizza Hut?! This place is a complete rip-off and likely a source of food poisoning, possibly from the salad bar. I experienced severe stomach pains for 48 hours after visiting this dirty establishment. The tables were not cleared or wiped down. I paid £29.95 for a pizza with minimal toppings, essentially just a lot of dough. Other reviewers have posted pictures showing that the same pizza cost approximately £10.00 less in 2021. I am grateful for the discount offered on the app, but be sure to check the prices before you go as they are quite high. The seating is uncomfortable in some sections, with tables too high for the seats and benches that are not deep enough. The tables are also too close together, especially for a place where you have to get up often for the salad bar or drinks. I went to this restaurant with my family. Initially, I would have given it only 1 star, but decided to give it 2 stars because the staff were good. However, I was disappointed to find that the state of the toilets was very poor. The toilets were in such a bad condition that even kids were uncomfortable using them. The toilet cubicle door wouldn't close properly, and the toilet seat was dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a long time. The food was average but could have been better, and the prices were too high for the quality. Absolutely awful experience. Went for a birthday meal. Greater by the manager who asked if we had any allergies. I replied yes, tomatoes for my daughter. Was given allergy menu. Ordered food. Said 3 times that there’s a tomato allergy to my daughters plate. No sauce or tomato on her pizza. Plain base. She understood. Waited ages for food. Comes out, gives my daughter her pizza.
