"We had a very disappointing trip to this branch. Normally quite a consistent chain but this visit was below standard. On arrival we were pointed to our table and told the menus were on the table, it took mins to attract someone’s attention to...ask for a vegan menu, whilst to have a separate vegan menu is a great touch assuming we would want the standard menus was a lack of service. We ordered the pizzas and drinks. When the pizzas arrived both mine and my partners were luke warm. We mentioned it and they offered to replace them but by that point we just ate them. Would not go back or recommend."

Our waiter was called Mina or mena but her customer service was excellent and made sure our needs were met, constantly working hard and making sure our group of two tables, had a great experience at the Leicester high cross will be returning back...soon

Yesterday we went to st. Peter squar Leicester Pizza express. Festive season, buzzy, service is excellent,but all the dishes we ordered is severely is bit colder,only we received hot one dish was canaloly. Staff is friendly. Children activity is superb. It's didn't get what we...want. Management should take this views for consideration.Thanks

As always, the service was great at this restaurant, but this time we had a new server taking care of us. He was fantastic and upbeat, making sure we had a good experience and that our food arrived promptly. His name was Hisham and he truly made our day with his genuine chit chat. He is a top man and we hope he continues to excel in his role! View menu

We have been eating at King Street Pizza express for many years and always enjoyed ourselves. As it is now closed we tried the Highcross branch. Very disappointing. Despite booking we were seated by the toilet door. Plenty of other tables available. Service was pleasant...but rushed. Pizza arrived cold. Pepper mill did not work. Table and bench seat felt sticky. Husband had to clean chair before sitting. It was noisy. View of busy road. We will not be back.

I used to love Pizza Express but was disappointed during my recent visit. It had been a while since I last went. The staff were excellent and very attentive. However, the food was sadly bland and uninspiring, and I felt it was overpriced. We were seated next to a noisy table of children, while their parents were sitting at the other end of the restaurant. It felt like we were at a kids' party. Although I'm not sure if it was the restaurant's fault, they did accept the booking. Overall, I won't be in a hurry to return.
