We had a busy Saturday night and decided to go out for a quick meal. We were pleasantly surprised by the great service, fast delivery of our food, and the delicious taste of our meals.

Visited with my daughter for an evening meal. Service was brilliant. Unfortunately i didn 't get his name but he did his job very well. Just the right amount of attention, didn 't rush us and was visibly pleased when he asked how we were and my daughter said ' great thanks and how are you? ' Apparently no-one ever asks, so remember that next time someone asks you that question!! View menu

While out for a family walk with Evie and Shirley, we decided to stop at this restaurant for dinner. My wife isn't a fan of pizza, but we both ordered our traditional Romano pizzas - mine with goats cheese and spinach and Evie's was a spicy pizza. The restaurant was busy, but we were seated quickly and provided with a high chair. Our food and drinks were promptly served. Despite being a chain restaurant, Pizza Express always delivers high quality pizza. I have had better pizza, but only in Florence! Overall, a top-notch dining experience.

We visited this eaterie today two old fogies who have not been to a Pizza Express for years. We were greeted by the lovely Grace who made us feel at home straightaway. Friendly, efficient and charming. Food was delicious and we put Tesco voucher deals towards the meal which were readily accepted so no fuss at all. We came away with a spring in our step, feeling we had received value for money so thank you, Pizza Express and in particular thank you Grace. Must mention that all the staff were pleasant so whoever is at the helm here is doing a grand job.

The restaurant should consider changing its name since it is not at all "express." The service is slow, and it seems like the manager is doing more work than the waitresses, at least some of them. The drinks took a long time to be served, and the food was slow to come out as well. On the positive side, the food was excellent. Even though the thin crust base was not crispy, it was not doughy. The toppings were flavorful, with a nice touch of spice. The pizzas were large and satisfying, though we had to make do with garlic butter instead of garlic sauce. Our waitress was pleasant and always busy, earning her a well-deserved tip. I would recommend this restaurant as long as you are not in a rus... View menu
