"We Sat outside in the garden away from the tennis tournament final that was being played that evening. Despite being at max capacity service was quick and attentive as it always is here. Well done Country Club!"

"We arrived randomly at Pontremoli and we were amazed by the kindness and hospitality of its people! Just before going back home we decided to eat something and, even though they were all full, the owner of Osteria della Luna look our cold faces and invited us to come in and eat something. We were even in a little hurry and she and her team helped us a lot in deciding the best dishes! Everything was delicious, all hand made and traditional testaroli al pesto, gnocchi di castagne and taglierini al ragù di salchicha e funghi: buonisimo! The environment was very warm and delicate! "The room, located in the central street, on the first floor of an ancient building is very characteristic and well organized despite the internal division. "What's not to love about Oca? We have a house a short walk from the restaurant and it is one of our favorite restaurants in the world). Great food for example, the veal with tartufo is fabulous they cover it with truffles with abandon, no paying for it by the gram here). Tagliata con arugula/pomodorini excellent. Great pastas and big cocktails you could swim in their negroni) Comfortable nice relaxed rooms with good art adorning the walls reminds us if Raoul's in NY) And speaking of Raoul's, Oca has the same professionalism and flair albeit and Italian one this from someone who has been dining Raoul's since the early 80's). Great service delivered with warmth particularly if you are regular). A must when in Pontremoli."

"Ci siamo fermati a pranzo durante il viaggio, non avevamo prenotato ma con gran fortuna si era appena liberato un tavolo. Il locale era tutto pieno e questo di solito è già un buon segno. Siamo stati accolti molto gentilmente e accontentati in tutto dal giovane ragazzo che ha preso l'ordinazione. Molto buono il tagliere di salumi e formaggi, buoni anche i due primi piatti e così pure il dolce. Il locale interno è molto carino, il gazebo esterno molto luminoso ma un pochino rumoroso. Primi piatti euro, taglieri dai ai dolci e incredibile, nessun coperto... (misure anticovid perfettamente rispettate) Val proprio la pena"

"We have been going to the restaurant for approx 25 years and as the usual the the food was good however i ordered a tortelli with mushroom for my wife and they brought her a tagliatelle and mushroom i was going to send the dish back but my wife said it's ok , then as she was finishing the dish , one of the staff brought over a plate of tortelli with mushroom and apologises that they had made a mistake. Great. As we were eating the tortellini , one of the owners came over and said the that tagliatelle was not ours which i found rude as it was their mistake however for once in my life i bit my tongue? We finished the meal and i paid and asked for a receipt , then i notice that i had been charged for their mistake , when i ask why , she stated that you ate the food and i should pay as if i was an idiot, i replied its your mistake not ours quite sharply why should i pay, she offered me the money back reluctantly but i did not accept as i was angry and need to leave , i walk out for the last time and will not be going back . Food is always good , in my opinion the sevice over the last few times of eating there has not been great this is not what you should expect in italy considering what the sevice used to be like."
