"Small restaurant on the piazza ..in the shade…which was a nice break for lunch the day we were there. Pasta is what to order. It comes in a small metal skillet ..which I think adds to the excellence of the pasta..if nothing more than making it even more appetizing. I know people have posted some negative reviews about the pizza, and I know it’s a pizzeria…but I did not see anyone ordering anything but pasta when I was there. I tend to go with what I see others ordering, particularly the locals, and that was …get the pasta. It looked so appetizing served in a small skillet. Just look at some of the photos people have posted. What would you order? It was as good as it looked! The pasta, and lasagna, we ordered was as good as any where else on our trip… in other words, terrific. The waiters, and I think it was the owner inside when I went to pay, were all terrific. You would have thought we were locals , not tourists, with the friendly treatment we got. A definite place to stop for a quick bite to eat if you are in the area."

Amazing food and great location. We came here on a sunny day, the terrace is located in the shadow. We had two amazing raviolis, a salad and great wine.

Nice location but the pizza was so dissappointing. I’ve had better pizza at Norwegian kebab bars. The dough was hard to chew, the tomato sauce tasted like nothing. View menu

The servers were lovely and full of kindness. The food was not what one would expect from a pizzeria in Italy. We didn't have much, but what we did have was average at best. There is a high expectation to pizza in Italy and this restaurant didn't meet it. Thankful for the kind wait staff and the beautiful scenery of the piazza. View menu

While it is a shop, it also sells cold platters and you can sit nicely outside. The staff is very helpful (some speak English, not all though and that really can't be expected im my view) and the food is awesome. Expect some waiting time, it is usually quite full. Don't seat yourself. You pay inside, Debit card is no problem. No pizza, no pasta, no stress.

Fantastic spot for lunch in Lucca. They have a sign outside saying “No pasta. No pizza. No stress.” Which initially made me think it was only a bar, and then i saw people eating so we stopped in for a bite. One of the best sandwiches I’ve eaten — every ingredient is a delight and beautifully fresh. I had a ham, burrata, and aubergine sandwich. The bread was perfect, the ham was deep in flavour, the cheese beautifully fresh, and the presentation simple and unfussy. The salads are also fresh and presented beautifully in a huge bowl. They serve Coca Cola in a glass bottle with ice and lemon. Sit outside and soak up the sun and atmosphere of the square. If you want a quick and delicious sandwich...
