"We were a group of 23 cyclists who had a wonderful evening in this quaint, traditional German Restaurant. We had made advance reservations as it had excellent reviews, and it didn’t disappoint. Given the size of our group, 11 kids vegetarians included, we pretty much went through the menu possibly the best food during the trip. Beer wine were also very good. Service was excellent very helpful staff given our limited understanding of German. We all felt that the food was great a great enjoyable evening"

"Vergangene Woche war ich mit meiner Freundin in der Mühle Essen. Als erstes fällt das Rustikale Ambiente auf, welches sehr einladend und gemütlich ist. Der Service war super freundlich und Aufmerksam.Nun kommen wir zum wichtigsten, dem Essen. Es war eine kleine Reise in ein fremdes südländisches Land. Der Koch Esmeraldo, ( Er hat sich während unserem "Überraschungs-Menü vorgestellt und die einzelnen Gänge präsentiert) kombiniert deutsche Küche mit mediterraner Leichtigkeit was zu einem exzellenten Ergebnis führt. Die ganzen Gänge, die wir verspeist haben, wirkten extrem aufeinander abgestimmt und haben mit den frischen zutaten und dem exzellenten Geschmack einfach nur überzeugt.Vielen Dank für diesen wundervollen Abend! Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"Auf Empfehlung hin sind wir gestern dort zu sechst essen gegangen. Ich selbst bestellte mir den "Hof-Salat" der den teuersten Salat der Karte darstellte. Zu essen bekam ich einen Imbissbudensalat über den einfach nur eine handelsübliche Cocktailsauce gekippt wurde. Abgesehen davon, dass der Salat seinem preis in keinster Weise entsprach (da man für diesen Preis woanders richtig gute Salate bekommt) war die Portion einfach viel zu klein - bitte von der Karte nehmen oder daran was ändern!!. Auch der Teller für das Putensteak und das Gyros waren von beschämender Größe, sodass wir alle hungrig nachhause gehen mussten. Der Service war ok, bis auf dass man uns nachdem wir den letzten Bissen nahmen schon zum Zahlen und gehen überreden wollte."

"We just return from a lovely meal at Wirtshaus Anders. Since my husband and I did not speak German, the owner/ chef came out to our table to provide suggestions. My husband had the dumplings with mushrom sauce and I had the spatzle which both included salads. They were both delicious (köstlich)! The service was great. The patio was lovely, too and the entire place was decorated so tastefully. We were so pleased to stumble upon this restaurant. It appears to be child-friendly, too.We couldn't leave without dessert: apple strudel for the hubby and chocolate molten cake along with fresh whipped cream, ice cream, and raspberries for me. Simply devine. During our meal the chef came out several times to check on us and to greet other guests. It's obvious he takes pride in what he does and wants to please. The Wirsthaus is off the beaten path a bit, but it's not that far from the river and definitely worth it."

"Stopped by coincidentally for lunch and menu looked enticing, so went in - no more room on the balcony with view to Rhine.Even inside there was a table for a group plus us 4 and potentially others, but service was kind, prompt, professional.We had wine by the glass and a large bottle of San Pellegrino water, no starters. The older couple had pasta with salmon, the less old couple pizza (gorgonzola spinach with black olives) and calzone. Was promptly brought, even parmeggiano offered with the pasta (and accepted with pleasure and served by waiter and elft on table which I like) and spicy oils for pizza and calzone. Everybody enjoyed what they had. Espressi for dessert expensive but comes each on a little tray with sweet and glass of water.All in despite this being a touristy place price not overdone and quality, both food and service, good - we would stay again."
