"My wife and I were strolling thru the boardwalk, btw, Juan-les-Pins is a beautiful town, there were so many options on the beach, when we decided to have dinner, most of them had closed, I assumed since it is not season yet, but that was strange in my opinion. Beach dining at night is a winner, anyway, we chose Trident by elimination, what a great finding. I have read reviews that they are slow, honestly, we have to forget of the american way where you time everything. Relax and enjoy the experience. We had no problem getting our bottle of wine quick, and yes for american standards, they take their time to ask you what do you want to eat. I had the mussels and my wife the local fish, the food was very good, but what made it special, was seating on the sand barefoot, good music, weather and of course Rose wine. The service was friendlier than usual, it helps to practice your French, although everybody speaks English. The price, cheap for the Riviera, 2 bottles of wine, mussels, fish, 56 Euros. I highly recommend, and I hope I would repeat."

Been coming here now for the second year and you can't beat their Moulles Friet and a bottle of chilled La Crotes rose which all in all is not going to break the bank. They also do great deserts and if you do fancy a swim or need a nap after all the food get yourself a lounger out on the deck. Will definitely come back next year!

Well. How can I start.... -1 The guys are awesome, professional, and efficient (compare with awful other beach clubs on left side ) No the French are not rude they proved it -2. The food is amazing.....for a beach club I mean. But excellent Fresh big and well made -3. The location is great. Definitely the place to be. A 4-5 stars would be right. I just recommend this place.LAURENT.

We chose this restaurant because of its location: dinner at the wbeach with your feet in the sand with a nice view over the bay of Cannes. The menu options were limited. I started with tartare of salmon, which consisted of small cubes of salmon with a large green salad. Nice, but different from what I expected. The Trio de la Mer consisted of three grilled pieces of fish, which were only average. Portions were rather large. Very friendly service. View menu

We normally eat at one of the other seafront restaurants on the same stretch of beach but thought we'd give Le Trident a try seeing as they had moules frites on their menu (which was obviously considered too basic for the swanky neighbouring eateries) but just what I fancied for a light lunch today. My wife chose the grilled Salmon fillet. All washed down with a great bottle of Sancerre. Verdict: Perfectly cooked and superb ingredients - equally as good as the slightly more expensive neighbours. We will be back.

This used to be the place to go in Juan Les Pins for Moules. Don't waste your money. Along with the nice freshly cooked moules, you get some that have been in the pot so long they are inedible. Not nice. To make matters worse, the Petit Plage beach next door seems have turned itself into some sort of music beach, so if you take a bed on The Trident Ponton, prepare to be deafened by the loud beats from Petit Plage which can still be heard through noise cancelling earphones! I asked the waiter from the Petit Plage next door to turn it down so he turned it up!! Charming. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing afternoon don't go here or to the beach next door.

We used here for the private beach for two days during our stay in Juan Les Pins due to the main beach being too busy. As it is a smaller private beach the sun beds are cheaper! 15€ for sunbed row 2/3, 20€ for row 1, 25€ jetee. Really welcoming and accommodating! We didn't make a reservation - luckily they had sunbeds available but the general expectation is to reserve. We took our own drinks & left for lunch (not sure if this is in the "rules") but it was really flexible. Got much busier in the afternoon so need to get down early or reserve to secure a sunbed! Crystal clear waters & Vanilla milkshake was lovely!! Recommended for a quieter, relaxing beach holiday. Good music & vibes! View menu

We were wandering along the Boulevard Charles Guillaumont in JLP and were attracted by the sea front setting of the restaurant. The restaurant on the beach was busy which is always a good sign. As a result we were put at the edge of the area adjacent to the loungers and furniture from the daytime piled into untidy bundles. It would not be difficult to screen this detritus by a simple curtain mechanism which would add interest to the area and make it look less like a junk yard. This criticism can be levelled at most of the beach restaurants in JLP The waitress was charming but everything was slow, the arrival of the menus, the drinks and eventually the food...which was quite pleasant. but not...

We had an 8:00 reservation on a Saturday evening and it was surprisingly quieter than I thought it would be, although there were several people there. Me and my friends chose one of the tables that was right on the sand literally two meters from the tides edge. It was beautiful. We all ordered salads (we'd already had a lot to eat) and a bottle of white wine. We were presented with a little bowl of olives for our wait and they went perfectly with the wine. It seemed quite a long wait for our salads but when they came out we realised why. They were massive and had an amazing selection of ingredients in them, more than the average salad! The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the price was...
