"Stunningly good fish and chips this evening. Getting progressively better every time we visit. Tonight's were the best ever, we thoroughly enjoyed every chip, the fish, the beans and the peas. Great little added extra (don't know if it was a mistake) but there was a portion of tartare sauce in the package this evening which was extremely tasty (tasted homemade, absolutely delightful). A can't think of any better fish and chips on the island, or anywhere. Beat that!"

Got a mushy pea fritter, veg-chicken goujons and fries. Super cheap, only about 6gbp total! And very tasty.

Thanks to Anglesey Social Media's recommendation on Facebook and Twitter, I had whitebait with tartare sauce and chips from Port Chippy, Amlwch. The quality were just as good as a restaurant, so this is another chippy I recommend for visitors.

I can not praise this chippy enough. Delicious food with recyclable packaging. An easy to use online booking system, I book in the day, pay for it and then I simply collect on my way home from work. Not to mention the sustainable cod and sustainable high oleic oil. Well done ??

The app is a complete waste of time. Why bother when you turn up on time and still have to wait 25 minutes and get your food no quicker than those who are waiting in line. I want to have a really good rant but even that's been spoilt by the fact that the fish and chips was so **** good!

They have vegan strips which were overpriced, I think we got 3 for almost 5 pounds. The lady was nice though and she said the also have a vegan pie and vegan mayo. Just a shame they don't give you more quantity. Chips weren't amazing either. Also bear in mind the food is not cooked separately. Updated from previous review on 2023-09-09

"I've been to Dylans in Menai Bridge and always enjoyed it not this time. For the first half of our visit there was a stinging blue haze hanging in the air; the kitchen extractors clearly weren't functioning properly. Fortunately this cleared for the second hour we were there. Now to the service; after taking our drinks orders we waited nearly 15 minutes for them. Later, after staff had passed our empty glasses 20 times, we managed to order some second drinks by catching their attention. The food was the main problem; minuscule starters of crab and Welsh rarebit. My pizza came as a real surprise (as others have mentioned in previous reviews); gone is the thin crusted, well filled pizza of the past. The pizza is now about 20% smaller and my daughter mentioned that it looked like a child's portion. However, the main problem was the total lack of filling; there was a huge gap for at least an inch all round the pizza which was just fluffy dough. There were five tiny mussels on it and when I picked the mussel shells up they were so overcooked the shells turned to carbonised dust. I counted three tiny slices of red chilli. As others have mentioned, I realise the industry is having a hard time the price of the pizzas haven't gone up but the quantity and quality has plummeted and I would rather pay more to enjoy my meal. The pudding order came and was wrong. When the hot cross bun pudding came out it was still only on the wrong side of lukewarm. Don't get me started on the price of a pint of Aspalls £7.25, a price I would expect to pay in London. And before Lisa R replies that they would have replaced a dish, it would have been replaced with a similar disappointing dish....and no one bothered to ask us if everything was OK either during or after the meal anyway."
