"I like France and French food and have lots of experience across the range of cafes, restaurants, auberges, bistros, brasseries and fine dining. Poulette does not quite know where to place itself and neither do I. It is wonderfully decorated inside and has a lovely...feel, but then the menu shocks with its tasting menu . I certainly expected a MENU PRIX FIXE and/or some classic dishes to suit the seasonal weather, but there was not much Clarice and the descriptions were vague. No side dishes and the fish main was really a starter size. I appreciate the quality was good but the nouvelle cuisine minimalist presentation seemed a bit lost here in Prenzlauerberg and the prices will drive people to the competitors. Maybe the lunch menu in the summer is better."

It is at the Wasserturm one of the very nice, popular and interesting places in Berlin. And I like french cuisine.

A good cosy restaurant with tasty food, nice service. So, if you are into some french food, you may try this one. Neighbourhood also pleasant.

This place serves fine variations on French cuisine. Not expensive and very tasteful. Atmosphere is kind and food-loving. Interior is very cosy kitsch.

Food was poor, they offered a soup that they had run out of and so they just brought us a different soup which tasted of grit, the mains were unedible and then it took hour to get the bill

Poulettes in Prenzlauer is a marvellous find. No tourist buses, lovely ambience and good value food. We shared lunch with local families with prams, babies in high chairs and two large and very curious dogs. A course lunch for was good value too.

We walked by Poulette after we left another place out of frustration. We only wanted some desert to finish our evening, which was no problem. Our waiter did a great job with suggesting a delicious wine and recommending tasty deserts. Their live (historic) preparation of...Crème Brulee is a must see (and taste We'll definitely come back for more French nights!

The place is cozy but the food pretty mediocre. The appetizers are not seasoned well, stuffed with tons of garlic and the bouillabaisse soup was so salty we were not able to eat it. Just a couple of seafood pieces in a simple broth. For...the prices I would have expected a better quality of food. The Crème brûlée was also disappointing. At least we didn’t get charged for the soup.

This place does an amazing brunch. I had a rhubarb spritz and eggs Benedict. My food was beyond good. I think I’ve probably had eggs Benedict in places at least, and it’s never been this good. It was simple and fresh, but had all...of these extra goodies tucked inside... like fresh greens, julienned veggies, a sweet vinaigrette underneath with mozzarella, and was topped with avocado. I can’t wait to go back.

I love this place I have been there for breakfast and dinner and enjoyed their rich menu and lovely ambience. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Even though they do not have a really vegetarian menu (not many French restaurant do each time...they have made me a special that has been so delicious. I enjoy the cosy atmosphere in winter and in the summer the outside dining is quiet and gets the nice afternoon/evening sunshine.
