My experience of Proud Kitchen Camden was much like suze769's review below.

don't go here. it is so bad that after two hours we did not eat, but smile on our faces. it's really terrible.

a good place for a night trip has some themed evenings and a good sound system. is located in camden lock and the stables. pay them to come on free days and Saturdays and drinks become average prices. outside area on the day.

The Proud Kitchen is comfortable yet refined dining hidden away from the busy market! The lunch menu offers a varied, contemporary alternative to the takeaway' eateries of Camden. (although Proud do helpfully offer a take away option My two friends and I stayed well into the afternoon and even after our Mains, several desserts and coffees, we barely felt a dent in our wallets! A sure asset to Proud Camden

GENIUS. Proud Camden is now officially the perfect place to go, be it day or night. The addition of the kitchen to the gallery/venue/bar means that there is now a trendy place to sit down and eat before watching a band or just hanging out the stables. A great place to go with friends, you can sit down to a delicious 3 course meal without putting a huge dent in your wallet! Even if you don't usually head up that way, I would highly recommend you pay a visit to Proud Kitchen, it's totally worth the trip. View menu

I bought the 3 curs deal for 2 by groupon as a birthday present for my friend so expected it a pleasant evening. first we were shown on our table and the menus were given and then left. we then tried to order our drinks, but had to draw attention to the personal, as they were not even attentive. After we were the only white wine available tonight, the house or the bottles were £32, then we ordered a bottle of rose. the bottle was brought to our table, but was warm, so I asked for a cold bottle, the waitress looked confused, went away and never came back. as a reaction to the previous review. a large part of this report is in fact untrue in opposition to an opinion that we do not agree with. we were in this night briefly insulted and two employees were not showed up the service was not at standards and she was immediately given free a bottle of champagne to say it's sorry as most guests. also the food she did not like was immediately replaced with freshly cooked food. she needed an extra glass when she smashed her in front of our manager to make a point. she was also offered two free meals at any time she likes to say, sorry lastly she tries to blackmail us to pay her compensation money to stop...read more

What a nightmare. I can only say that our dining experience was nothing for Proud to be Proud of, it was the WORST dining experience that we have ever experienced. First off the lady didn't even know where to sit us and left us standing in the middle of the restaurant for a little bit, then she hastily stuck us on the end of a table with nothing laid out, no glasses no cutlery, such a bad welcome.
