"I have been visiting this place sporadically for a number of years. It is a family owned business and it shows. Nothing is too much trouble, the staff are attentive without being intrusive, and the food is great. I make a point of trying different things on the menu and the staff are always very good at explaining the dishes and, when asked, making suggestions. Tonight I had the chicken shashlik and it was without doubt the best I have ever had at any restaurant. Hence the urge to write this review. N.B. They are not on the internet so takeaways have to be ordered via a phone conversation."

This restaurant has a nostalgic 80s curry house vibe, but don't be deceived by its appearance. The food is exceptional, the service is excellent, and it's great value for money. Undoubtedly the best in Caterham.

Tasteless. Bland. And it left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, no love whatsoever was put into making this food. We couldn’t even finish it. Think we’re going to order a kebab. Small businesses in small towns rely on repeat business and this place has ruined it for themselves. Quality cannot be underestimated. In this case, it was.

I visited this restaurant recently for the first time. The service was welcoming and friendly. I had delicious popadoms followed by an equally delicious prawn curry and naan bread. I was shocked when the rice arrived as it was such a small portion. I’m a 75 year old tiny female with an average appetite but had to order an extra portion. I would love to return but please increase the rice portions!!
