"very good, authentic eating in this Ethiopian restaurant. do not let them turn away from the more curiously against (my car was just parked around the corner). the personal (which seemed vater and sohn) was very friendly and helpful, although it is important to be aware that the card machine does not work so that they need to get to the money machine next door (luckily it is free). we ordered a series of food from shiiro, mesir and real habsha special and tibs were all really good one of the best shiiros I tasted. the injera was also very nice. on Friday evening the place was popular with a mix of people and, tbh, was only used by the hand wash facilities that eat for eating injera that could be a bit better 5*"

First time visit this evening with my wife and son. What a great cultural experience! Food first class, delicious and very reasonably priced, restaurant cosy and buzzing, and Tom was welcoming and charming. We're all looking forward to our next visit in the very near future. View menu

delicious Ethiopia/Eritrean food. beautiful selection of African beer, and traditional house made honey wine. if they are a little creepy when they literally eat), they simply bring their own forks and spoons. the coffee is also great. only cash, but near there is a cashpoint.

very good food, good for sweet and carnivorous. friendly staff in a real family atmosphere. I look forward to a return trip next time in bristol. the food is served on a brot 'plate', with extra brot served separately. take them broth, immerse them in their selection of meat and salates and garnish, and munch them away by great food.

Small authentic restaurant on a seemingly well lined popular international food street. We ordered a vegetarian/ vegan sharing platter for two £15.50). Quick and friendly service. Easy to decide what you wanted and the food came quickly. Everything on the plate was delicious. Great dinner option if you’re looking for somewhere cheap and quick like we were ! Note that there was a perfect amount of injera so that it didn’t go to waste ! two rolls extra on the side) View menu

Not just good food, it 's an experience. The food has a reasonable price, delicious and plenty but beyond that, the owner/staff take care of the presentation a lot. You can choose to be seated in a western dining table or traditional Ethiopian table, incense are served with food and coffee, coffee served in a traditional jug. The decoration is detailed with pictures of Ethiopian kitchen, cooking tool, etc. The speaker blasts Ethiopian music. £14 for two is already a good price for lunch, but for a Covid proof journey to Ethiopia, that 's something else

This place is one of my favourite in Bristol! The food is delicious and fresh the portions are generous and I have never had anything there that is not tasty. The man who works there is very friendly and the inside of the shop itself is nice. Definitely get the veg combination platter, the shiro is fantastic The cermony coffee with the popcorn is lovely and gingery, so definitely get some! The habesha beer is great too. We've been ordering food for a while and the takeout is just as nice and fresh as in-restaurant. If you come to Bristol you must not miss out on going here :

"Visited here in Sept 23 for an executive dinner that we were hosting for various senior business leaders. We booked out the whole venue, which was the perfect size and atmosphere for the intimate and exclusive feel that we wanted, plus a convenient location. The TV that shows into the kitchen was fascinating, and the record player was put to use towards the end of the evening! Caroline from the venue helped us organise the event in advance and was great to deal with. We were fortunate with the weather so were able to enjoy a welcome drinks reception out the front of the venue, and have the door open all evening to let the balmy night in. We had the 7 course taster menu and it was simply OUTSTANDING so many of our guests commented on how delicious it was, particularly the beef steak course! It was so tasty that I even enjoyed the fish dish (not usual for me! . Service on the night was exemplary, the courses were brought out at just the right intervals so you weren't waiting ages but also not being rushed. The chef came out to greet us after the final course, which was a lovely touch and meant we could thank him. Overall, we had really great feedback from our guests, everyone loved it thank you for making our event such a success! We would definitely book again, and I know a few of our guests have already recommended it to their own companies for executive dinners! Would not hesitate to recommend."
