"I met an acquaintance there at noon on a Tuesday, and it was quite dead. We sat at a table near the large windows with a great view of the river, and I got the impression I was walking into a restaurant that would be much more expensive than it was. The tables were beautifully adorned with folded cloth napkins, professional china and silverware presentations, and red and white whine glasses. The place was also spotlessly clean. When I opened the menu, however, the prices were lower than I had expected. Many of the entrees were going for 12-13 Euro. My acquaintance and I each started off with an apple juice, and shared the basket of bread, which came accompanied with three different spreads. That was where I stopped, however. She ordered a tomato and mozzarella salad, which looked ok. Of course, the slices of thick mozzarella looked delicious, but my acquaintance complained about the not-so-ripe tomatoes. We capped our meal with a coffee and cappucino. My coffee came with sugar and a little cookie, and her cappucino looked like a cappucino should. The ambience was great, and I need to return to give a better review of the food. From what I've discovered thus far, it is OK. Next time, if it is nice outside, I would also like to sit on the patio. (They also had ice cream there I did not try."
All prices are estimates on menu.
