"The grounds are so stunning the perfect place to wander around champagne glass in hand and count how many greens you can see between all the trees the flowers and the lawn. The dinner was spectacular and delicious, presentation was art work and the tastes subtly and exquisitely mixed with the tenderest and freshest ingredients. The waiters and waitresses at the top of their profession, not snobbish at all but helpful, friendly and... Funny! After the meal, the big bedroom, castle- like furniture and decor, modern bathroom with big bathtub and sparkly clean... Finally, breakfast, which offered eggs on the Continental choice, not the usual dried out scrambled but offered up in a cassolette which upon opening revealed soft creamlike eggs, this with ham from the region and cheese, along with an assortment of croissants, baguettes, chocolate croissants, etc. and the freshest orange juice with nice hot coffee and hot milk...A luxurious enchanted castle experience, perfect for a wedding party!"

Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to La Domaine d'Auriac. Beautiful surroundings and elegant table settings. Service a bit slow to start but fine once it got going : friendly and attentive. Food all beautifully presented and well flavoured. Only minus point: a wine list of over 200 wines is ridiculous and the wines are seriously overpriced.

We found this hotel through Relais and Chateaux. We had no idea how special this place would be. It is 3rd generation with wonderful service as well as history, beautifully decorated rooms, and exquisite food. Today, my husband I played golf at the adjacent golf course with incredible views and played well. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Merci

I shouldn't have been surprised- this location already has many excellent reviews but...WOWThat was OUTSTANDING. Top to bottom. Presentation, preparations, location, overall EVEN, excellent hospitality* *We are non French speaking guests. All of it was just wonderful - best meal of our current road trip, which included a Michelin 3 star.I highly recommend and I can't wait to return. 5 stars and two snaps up!

"Visited today for lunch after reading a recent review about the high quality of food on offer. We were not disappointed! It was superb. There were 3 choices on each of the courses with one vegan option on each course. I had chicken fricassie which was the most delicious chicken dish I've had for a very long time. The meat was so tender, it fell away from the bone; the mushroom sauce was deliciously tasty - it wasn't over seasoned. My OH had tofu wok which he really enjoyed. Both were served with rice and runner beans. The starter was a dish of 2 types of melon one of which was watermelon, with feta. We didn't think it sounded great but we were very wrong. It was served with a dash of vinaigrette made with a light oil, a tiny bit of honey and toasted flaked almonds and was surprisingly interesting. All the flavours worked so well together. For dessert OH had the cheese plate with 3 different types of cheese which he loved but it couldn't have been better than my raspberry Eaton mess which was particularly good as it wasn't overly sweet. All for €18 each AND it was all organic! We sat outside in the courtyard which was a very pleasant area. The ambiance throughout was of calm. No background music, no clattering noises or shouting from the kitchen area. It was a little oasis of refined lunchtime dining, The service was impeccable. The young man who served us was very impressive and able to tell us what ingredients were used in the vinaigrette. It goes without saying that the high standard of food and service were also reflected in the high levels of cleanliness throughout. We only wish we'd discovered this place sooner and will be back again as soon as I can trust the OH's arm"
