"First... the Swiss people in Zurich were extremely nice AND helpful. My wife and I traveled there in March as part of our 30th wedding anniversary celebration. The hotel we stayed at was walking distance to the "old town" area where there's a lot to do. There's plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from... and it was dinner time and we wanted something Swiss and a beer!!It was suppose to be an easy walk from our hotel to this area... but we got lost. (what else is new) That was ok because we remembered to bring our map with us (a gift form the hotel)... As we were looking at the map, trying to figure out where we were going, this nice couple (mid 30's) stopped and approached us to ask if we needed help to find the area we were looking for. We, of course said we needed help, and instead of them pointing to the map to show us where to go... they walked us there, then turned around and walked back towards the direction from which we just came... WOW!! Nice!!! After strolling thru this "happening area"... we decided to go into the Restaurant Brasserie Johanniter. First glance.... it looked authentic Swiss!! We were immediately seated and tasted our first Swiss beer. Nice! The waiter was really nice and dinner was served "promptly"... just like everything else Swiss... "on time". My wife had the salmon, potatoes and spinach... seems simple right? WOW... delicious!! I had the chicken cordon bleu, fries and a salad. All three were delicious. We'd go back for sure!"
