"The location is good, right in the centre of the old town. However the food is average. Is it worth waiting and booking a table in advance? Definitely not. Is the atmosphere inside the restaurant cozy and beautiful? Also very basic. Today I caught myself thinking that I haven’t been to the places like that for a long while. The restaurant was very full when we visited but honestly do not understand the hype. They looked understaffed und like it was a challenge to serve all the visitors."

We came on Saturday evening and the restaurant was fully booked. But luckily we managed to get one table. The rice noodles tasted cool, and the stir fried beef was delicious as well.

Very tasty diner, the vegetarian dish and vegi spring rolls were perfect. Could maybe put more options for vegetarians/vegans, but all with all my meal was perfect, good quality . Will be back again when I visit St.Gallen again for sure !

This is hands down the best Vietnamese food in St. Gallen if not in all of eastern Switzerland. Prices are reasonable. Portions are hearty. Service is good friendly. English is spoken here. Have been here several times and never been dissappointed. Worth a visit !!

I am very happy to find this restaurant. I usually order takeaway lunch from the buffet often for 15.5 with great food. The sweet sour chicken is great. I also ordered the duck with oyster sauce and it was really great. The staffs are super nice and friendly. Definetely very affordable and satisfying.

Saturday night ideally try to book, we came and by chance got a table for 2. The staff are super nice, friendly fast serving the table. The dishes were delicious portions are quite generous for the main dishes, we had : (13) vietnamese spring rolls (35)beef with curry, thai style spicy (46)chicken with cashew nuts

I was amazed at the arrogant and unkind attitude of the lady boss. I will soon inform you of a restaurant to replace the place where you are wondering why this place has become a restaurant for st.gallen. I don't live here, but I remember Poh Bo was delicious 2 years ago, so I came back yesterday and I really don't want to come again.

Really enjoyed this spot for lunch in downtown St. Gallen. They had a lunch buffet, but we ordered a la carte. By Swiss standards it was a solid bargain, and the food arrived quickly with good service. A kind of place where portions are big and you want to share. We had a mix of rice and noodles dishes with chicken, beef, and vegetarian. Cash only, so bring Swiss francs (ATM just around the corner).

Concerning food, the aliment are good, vegetable stuff are fresh. But still not a pho, I could try a bo bun. The soup is boiled water. I won’t recommend this place for true amateur, but still won’t get sick. Service is a mess, if u travel or don’t except lose time for visiting, place to avoid. Give a 2 stars only based on the pho and the service (1 long hour, the waitress skip us like 5 times before give the bill). So Food ok, service not good in a not so rush hour.

St. Gallen is known for its historic Abbey Library and textile industry; try their local dish OLMA bratwurst sausage, often enjoyed without mustard.
