"with the menu. We just spent a week in Konstanz, helping family move here and as the Seelig restaurant was conveniently close and easily accessible with the car it sort of became our daily diner. I can't fault the place at all. Staff was friendly...all the time, we ate something different every day all dishes were fresh and pleasant (from a thai curry to a steak with red onion sauce and famous fish dishes of the Bodensee). A nice choice of local wines complete the menu. The price seemed very correct : we usually just had one main course, glass or two of wine and a coffee for around 20 Euros p/p. The bonus is the view of the lake and the atmospheric illuminations of the adjacent swimming pool after dark (the restaurant is part of a very modern spa complex)."

We were thrilled with the muzzles! You don't expect that in a swimming pool. Great!

Tolle Aussicht, seit dem Besitzerwechsel unruhige Stimmung und nicht mehr so gemütlich. Bedienung etwas zackig und gestresst. View menu

Was received super nice on Sunday. The service of the 2 boys ladies is worth 8 stars. Very friendly and have Bock and pleasure for her job. The food was great too. Had the Puten Curry and the Gnoccis.

And beautiful position, just in front of the lake. Service could be improved (the waiter had no idea of the food that was offered, but he was very kind) and the presentation of the dishes too, but the taste was really new and interesting. Recommended!

We have now been to this restaurant both for lunch and evening meal. The lunch menu was really good value €12) for a business lunch, although service food) was around an hour. We were tourists and therefore were not so bothered by time. Lasagna...was delicious, and the salad for a starter lovely. Good view of the lake and neighbouring mineral baths and 'Freibad '. Remember to take a cusion from the box as you walk in if you sit outside ! View menu

Location, location, location! You sit here at one of the privileged spots at the lake and if the evening is warm, it can be magical observing the incoming sailboats while majestic Säntis sits in the background. Luckily this is not a tourist trap. The kitchen...has all the standards to keep your youngsters happy but also offers interesting, at times even excentric vegan meals. Service has stabilized over the years and is now good. This will not be the best restaurant you have ever eaten, but just relax, sit back and enjoy the view...

I have been to the restaurant on several occasions and can heartily recommend it for a meal or just cake and coffee. The staff are always friendly, polite and very professional. The standard of cuisine is very high, and the prices are reasonable. Large windows...on 3 sides look out across Lake Constance and there is a pleasant shady terrace for the summer months. It is situated next to the thermal spa in Konstanz, with parking spaces for guests. The menu offers a selection of light meals, fresh fish and great starters. Delicious creamy cakes to follow and a pleasing wine menu. Definitely worth a visit, especially combined with a trip to the spa or a stroll along the lakeshore.

"good restaurants aren't strange to me, but this one really impressed. great service and even better eating. prices are actually quite decent for a restaurant with 2 stars. eat very well. it is very creatiw, without being excessive, and the taste combinations work well. our whole table enjoyed everything we had. the chef seems to lend himself sometimes from different ess cultures, but it is subtle and just what the court needs. Whenever I see deaf on the menu in a restaurant, I order them and I must say that the deaf at ophelia was the best I ever had. you just have to try it yourself. the prices were very decent when considering the quality of the restaurant. a 4-course menu cost 120 euro. servicesooo good! we had booked a table for 6 people but were 30 minutes too late. no problem! the staff was very friendly and assured us that the table is waiting for us whenever we come. during eating the waiters were always there, but never unpleasant. all our questions were answered both in German and in English and we felt that the waiters were really passionate about the food they served.ATMOSPHEREEOphelia lacks presumption. it is a fantastic restaurant, but they would look in a beautiful summer dress and with flat shoes not miss at the place. they do not have to dress inconveniently to experience the subtle luxury that ophelia has to offer. we also appreciated that it is a place where relatiw well educated children would feel comfortable. we sat outside on the balcony and it was idyllic. not hot, not cold – just perfect. they have a beautiful view of the lake and are surrounded by nature. I would not only recommend this restaurant, but encourage everyone to visit it!"
