"I amgiving this restaurant 5stars despite the ok atmosphere because the food was amazing. We had the mixed entre to start, the beef wrapped in vine was really deliscious and the prawns juicy and sweet. A side oder of chopped chilis were flavoursome with a nice slow burn. The dumpling with sugar cane was also juicy. The chicken satay was slightly overcooked but the satay sauce was fresh and authentic. Last on the platter were two large butterflied and crumbed prawns, amazing. For ten euros per person a good mixed entre. For the main we ordered a seafood clay pot, which arrived sizzling, and then crispy duck and pancakes vietnamese style. The duck was cooked to crispy perfection whilst still moist, and the seafood was fragrant and deliscious, the highlight a large halved sweet scallop. It was fresh and slightly raw inside just how it should be.The atmosphere is ok, but the service is excellent with our drinks arriving promptly. We will go back, nextvtime we will sit out in the nice garden."

I had a couple of dishes here. The Pho is very good, as are the summer rolls with shrimps and meat. Earlier I had a chicken dish here, which was also very nice. The food is in the medium price range, and worth it. I mostly ate outside in the garden, which is very relaxing. I cannot say much about the interior of Toan.

I found this restaurant from the internet. The good comments on the nets raised my interest. Yesterday my husband and I went there and tried out the food. We ordered vietnamese sommer roll, braised spare ribs and chicken curry in a clay pot. The food was amazing. The sommer roll tasted so fresh and crisp. I love the dipping sauce with crunchy peanuts. The spare ribs were delicious, but they were a bit strong at fish sauce taste. Well, people who don't like fish sauce might not like this dish. My husband and I both LOVE the chicken curry.
