"As I live in the area, I have been to Weil many times and am finally getting round to writing a review. The menu is smallish, but everything I have eaten there is delicious. I can particularly recommend their "Flammkuchen" (Tarte Flambé), deliciously thin and crispy pastry and tasty toppings, one must try Chanterelle mushrooms when they are in season. My next favourite is Schnitzel and "Bratkartoffel" (potato fries) , both are really good. We have had roast goose leg with all the trimmings in the Winter season, which can also to be recommended. There is a nice selection of wine, and schnapps, in fact, they have a good bar for simply enjoying a gin and tonic. Service is friendly and good. The restaurant itself is small, so reservations are a must. Weil is also one of the best places to eat outdoors in the pedestrian zone of Alt-Tegel in summer.Highly recommended."
