"I had been having a holiday home in old tegel for years and loved to go to because the customer service and the ambiente of the restaurant was good. I don't know if there was a change in management, but my last two experiences were terrible. I speak German and my talks with the two waitresses were in German last summer. we had deliberately accused ourselves of a waitress, because she did not give us a bill or a reception, nor did she have the carry on her portable up to ring. but after we were overloading ourselves about the bar and talking to the manager, our urwart looked at us and came up to see why we talked to the barmaid. we told her that she had overloaded us and gave us neither a bill nor a reception. she apologized and gave us our money right away. this made us less confident to go into because we really felt that she had deliberately overloaded us. but my man and I decided that our last experience was a farewell. but he's not again march we were outside on the veranda waiting for about minutes to be served and the restaurant was not busy. the waitress finally came to us on our order, which was for two glasses wein. after waiting for about minutes I went to the restaurant and remembered our waitress we waited for our two weep while chatting with two customers at the bar. she came out with our crying and apologized. then it began to get dark and she came out again and put bright laternen on all tables except ours, she also put an illuminated laterne on one run and nobody even sat there. but she didn't come anywhere near our table to offer us a lit laterne or to ask us if we were in order. about minutes later I went to the restaurant to ask the waitress on the bill and also asked her why she had not given us a lit laterne, as she had given a lit laterne to the other customer and could please bring out one as we had not finished our drinks. she gave me a lot of abuse in German and laughed with the customers at the bar, but not yet she came with the lit laterne for us. I have come to this restaurant for about ten years and the service was always impeccable, but now I don't know if there is new management and new employees are not trained in customer service. I and my people know that we will never be back."
