"I can recommend this place as an absolute secret tip. I live close and didn't know there was such a thing for 10 years. Eating is just great. own fish farming behind the house, which means really catch fresh fish. the trout is torned just before serving. the smell still hangs me in the nose, just fantastic. the menu is very extensive, many Thuringian dishes and only fish offers from forelle to the stör. also prices are more than men. the restaurant has a very large outdoor terrace. the access to the toilets reminds of an old mine tunnel. 1 go to the ladies! cross tunnels 2 go to the men. I had actually expected that after the opening it still goes with the elevator cabin 10 days! (but it's not going down: that's really nice. the whole plant looks very clean and well maintained. the hammer is the outside area. in the outer area there is an original mine that is now a rocket. here, until March 1991, riverpat was dismantled. they drive into the mine with the original mins, all restored. there is even a small steam. in the outside area you can look at a small exhibition about mining technology or go to the minenmuseum. the whole facility is definitely worth a visit, which will also delight the children. when can you drive to the mountain with the train?! information about the mine on the website [here link]"

"this place is a hit among the students in the opposite. the place is very well maintained and has the facility of the place is in fact very beautiful and innovatiw. eating here is very good that I went here to taste the Indian food and. I wasn't disappointed. the place serves something really good eating and they serve a really good amount, so they can be sure that they are satisfied after a nice heavy meal. eating is not very spicy and taste pretty good. the dishes were not very traditional Indian, but they were quite delicious. this place is definitely worth a visit. I was told that the pizza is also very good here, but I didn't try it personally."

"We ended up coming here to eat as the other Indian restaurant in the area were all full at the time. The place has a very quirky ambiance which is more like that of a cheap eating joint in India. Not much effort has been put into the decor of the place. When we were ready to place the order the waiter warned us that the quantities would not be that much and for the price of 7-8 euros we were not sure how much less it would be. When the food came the waiter was indeed right it was like 1 dish is only sufficient for 1 person which makes the place quite expensive. The food was quite delicious though the chicken dishes were good the Dal was just ok nothing great. All in all I don't think I would come here again unless well the other places are full again"

"Wir waren letztes Jahr schon einmal im Ratskeller und hätten es dabei belassen sollen. Wir waren auf der Durchreise, und wollten es noch einmal probieren. Da wir nicht wussten ob wir einen Platz bekommen würden, riefen wir zwei Stunden vorher an. Zu unserer Enttäuschung , es war alles reserviert. Schade ! In Ilmenau angekommen , wollten wir trotzdem unser Glück versuchen und siehe da, es gab einen freien Tisch, nicht nur das der Burner war, es waren mit uns zwei , 7 Mann zu Tisch. Alles frei. Wir gaben uns nicht zu erkennen und wurden an einen Tisch gebeten. Der unsauber hätte nicht sein können, aber nunja, wir baten die Kellnerin ihn abzuwischen, mit knurrigem ja wurde dies getan. Ein Blick in die Karte und wir wussten was es sein durfte und bestellten Getränke und Speisen gleichzeitig. Nach 25 Minuten hatten wir zwar unser Essen auf den Tisch, aber leider fehlten die Getränke, stattdessen spielte die Kellnerin auf ihrem Smartphone. Wir aßen und es war ein Gaumenschmaus ! Da hat die Küche, eine große Leistung vollbracht ! Als wir fertig waren, räumte die Kellnerin nach einiger Zeit unsere Teller ab, die Getränke waren natürlich noch nicht da. Darauf hin hinterfragten wir diese und wir bekamen nur ein unfreundliches ,,ja gleich,, zuhören. Mittlerweile waren von Zeitpunkt der Bestellung 75 min vergangen, wir hatten zwischendurch gegessen, und erhielten endlich die langersehnten Getränke. Im Lokal war es ruhig , es kamen ab und an Gäste. Aber wie am Telefon gesagt, waren die Reservierungen nur Schein. Wahrscheinlich war hier Jemand unmotiviert. Sehr schädigend fürs geschäfft. Da sollte der Chef überlegen seiner Mitarbeiterin mal einen benimmkurs zuschenken.Leider nur zwei Punkte , dafür war die Küche Spitze !"
