centennial restaurant located in pedestrian street next to the bouquet, tables well separated by the covid, super professional service, the bartender who treated us sympathetic and very attentive. the food very much superior to the last cyricals I have just read. We ask for anchovies and snails, very good èstos with a stuenda sauce, second we order paired rice, generous rations, well prepared and very dripping. the place was full and at all tables I saw a speedy and helpful service. tourists were very happy.

Great place in history and for that I’ll pay the higher prices but those prices are not reflected in the flavor of the food. I ordered the Bouilibase as it’s been on the menu since the 50’s. That should have been my first clue. Food has evolved since then and this dish has not. The stock was bland at best and portion of actual seafood was minimal but they gave you a gallon of the stock. My sister had their roasted chicken which was very good. I am still glad we went but for the money there are so many better place to go.
