Posto fantastico...già solo il sentiero per arrivare ti fa innamorare. Il padrone di casa, poi, è una persona unica che ti coccola con i suoi racconti e con la sua cucina.

I had a very pleasant stay at Rifugio Brusa! The food was excellent and Carlo is a magnificent cook and helpful host. The Rifugio is within 10min of walking distance to Rima, so no big detour at all.

While walking the GTA I stayed one night here. It is a charming Rifugio. Just 10 minutes walking from rima. The dinner was excellent. Former chef makes perfect dishes and finishes of with a tasteful grappa.

I am completely amazed by this place and the hosts Carlo and Paula. The Rifugio is marvelously located and Carlo and Paula are extremely nice. They were a great company during my stay and Carlo cooked splendid. At my departure they even took me to the next bigger town with their car so I could travel along more easily. Really a stay I will never forget! Thanks a lot.

Una Pasquetta da ricordare! Una giornata trascorsa in un posto fantastico, che é riuscito a farci dimenticare, almeno per un un giorno, la vita frenetica della città e a farci riscoprire il piacere della tranquillità. Grazie Carlo per la cucina ottima e ricercata, apprezzata anche dai più piccoli! Grazie Paola per le tue attenzioni e per averci fatto sentire come a casa! A presto .

Long overdue review. Found the place completely by accident when travelling to Rima for a hike. Honestly this was probably the best meal of my life. Freshly collected porcini, zucchini flowers, poached eggs, cheeses with homemade pickles. The whole thing was sublime. It's topline cuisine with kilometre zero ingredients delivered by a highly spirited and affable cook and host in one of the most beautiful valleys in Italy. Can't recommend it enough.

Bellissimo posto, cucina rustica ma ricercata, proprietari perfetti. Ho anche preso un bellissimo libro sulla flora locale. Torneremo sicuramente appena possibile. Rima San Giuseppe sembra uscito da una fiaba e per gli appassionati di trekking, di birdwatching e di botanica è un vero paradiso, che per la sua conformazione geografica non è stato devastato dagli impianti sciistici. È quindi la meta perfetta per chi ama la montagna d'estate (e in primavera, e in autunno) e ama camminare e guardarsi intorno, e non sfrecciare come un bolide. Vicino al rifugio Brusà abbiamo anche visto un cervo e sentito un'aquila.
